I ordered Sunday evening and received early afternoon Monday. Fast shipping and it worked perfectly. It was slightly different in size but it still fit just fine and was easy to hook back up.

this should be built a bit better than the 370v version and last a bit longer, it was bigger but did fit on my pentair pump.

My 5yo pool pump (Hayward SP3215X20) failed to start-- it would "hum" and then shut off. After checking that the impeller was not seized or blocked, I tested the start capacitor, and found it to be dead -- reading 0 uf on the meter (and also slightly bulging at the ends).I could not find the exact same capacitor, but this one is the correct spec -- 30uf/440VAC. It is about 3/4" inch longer and 1/4" narrower than the original, but it still fit in the enclosure. The pump started up right away, and is working well.

Most recently, my pool pump was just making a loud whining noise without the water moving. I was planning to buy a new pool pump until I saw a video of someone having the same issues and to try replacing the run capacitor. My pump uses the same spec capacitor so I ordered it. The replacement was simple and saved me a lot of money.

I didn't know if it was my pool pump motor or something else, but the pump wasn't kicking on. I was told try the capacitor first. Sure glad I did because this worked!!!. I am not an electrician.. just a "mom" who is for DIY than paying $$ for someone else to do it. I ordered the same exact capacitor that was originally installed on my (Century Pool Pump Motor for a Whisperflo System). I had a different model number than this one and was worried but all the important information that mattered was the same. The old one was a 27L1576 (30uf +6, 440VAC). This one is a 97F9635 (30uf +6, 440VAC) a bit slender about 1/2 inch longer than the original but still fit in the hump casing on top the pump. Was dreading spending $300-$400 for a new pool pump and so happy that it was just this super easy to do yourself part. There are many good informational video's on Youtube (safety first) before trying yourself. There is also a tamper seal on the box from the manufacturer so this is a good seller. At least you know the product is new and not used.
