My yard was terrible with huge ruts and swalls, etc. This works really well. Better than expected.

Easy it set up and works well. The weight is solid to push sand down into the ground when leveling.Only minor issues are the following :1. Yellow material at edge of the handle keeps coming up. I'm going to gorilla tape it to hopefully fix this.2. Because it's black it's gets hot when outside.

The leveling rake is of great quality. The package arrived with a few extra screws, nuts and tools to assemble which is very much appreciated. Packaging was neat and clean too.

This is a very large and very heavy-duty land levelling rake. It works extremely well for evenly spreading loose dirt over fairly large areas, such as after construction or landscaping work around your house. I was very impressed with how quick and effective it was at that one task. Though it's a bit costly, it is very heavily built, certainly sufficient for home use and probably even for some commercial purposes. However, it has limitations, as some other reviewers have also noted. It does not work at all well if the dirt isn't loose, or has more than a few rocks. I tried it on my packed-dirt-and-gravel driveway, and it had little to no effect - a proper metal rake with sturdy tines is what's needed there, and this rake has no tines, just heavy smooth metal bars.I will say that the photos in the listing are somewhat misleading. If you look closely, you'll see they do all show the rake on bare dirt, but generally completely surrounded by grass. The rake would work fine on just that little bare area, but doesn't work if there's more than the occasional blade of grass. That's because the plant roots will hold the dirt in place, or in clumps, preventing it from being smoothed out effectively. To sum up: This is an excellent tool for one very specific task, that of evenly spreading bare dirt with no plants and few rocks. Outside of that relatively narrow range of usefulness, it won't do much good, but within it it can't be beat. So think through your use-case carefully, and plan accordingly.

Like many tools shipped to your door, this rake comes in several pieces that needs to be assembled with 2 screws. This one is a bit challenging to get right as it's an interference fit and when you push with sufficient force to insert the 2 handle parts together, you can overshoot and scratch up the paint. After it's assembled it works pretty well. This helps level out topdressing on your lawn or smooth out soil in your garden. If the ground is especially rough or has long grass in it, the base might "flip", so I will consider a modification that locks the handle in place, but this isn't a flaw of the product. When you're done with it, you can fold it up flat against the wall and hang it on a pair of screws or a pegboard without it taking up any significant room inside your garage or basement.

This rake has some weight but, that is why it is easy to use and works well. Just work it back and forth and let the weight do the work
