At Jaspertronics we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products.

Jaspertronics and its founder have been in the lighting market for well over a decade. After years of hands on experience in the Home Theater market we merged into projection lamp sales in 2007. In the last decade plus we have taken a tremendous amount of time and put in even more effort to personally inspect, compare, and evaluate each and every projection lamp model in existence. We are still doing this to this date and will continue to do so as new models are released.

What are tips of extending the life of a lamp?
- Don’t keep the projector in a closed chamber without ventilation, or any circumstance that makes the projector overheat; excessive heat may result in a shorter life of the projector and your lamp.
- Operate your projector in a clean and dustless environment. Using an air cleaning machine in the room is also helpful
- Clean air filters regularly.
- Turn off the projector to ensure that it is able to receive the adequate cool-down period that is stated in the user manual.
- Don't shake or vibrate the projector when it is on or in the cooling down mode. The bulb is extremely fragile.
- Lamps are fragile in many circumstances. When changing a lamp, do not touch the actual bulb or burner itself use a cloth or a tissue to handle the bulb.. The oils from your fingers may stay on the bulb causing hot spots.

Replacement air filters are detrimental to the life of your lamp and the performance of your projector. Think home HVAC. How would your home heating or cooling operate if you never replaced the filter? Projectors need this maintenance as well. Filters should be inspected and replaced as needed, typically more often than the bulb for peak performance.
