This is a great size with a huge capacity— even for champagne bottles. After reading other reviews, I was concerned about sturdiness, but it is put together with screws and is really strong. Great for a home bar and simple to stain to fit your space.

I ordered two. They were easy to put together and are sturdy. Each box holds 28 bottles.

I'd been frustrated for years by the fact that my regular racks in my wine cellar wouldn't properly hold 'oversized' bottles such as for sparkling wine and Pinot Noir. This rack is the perfect solution. It holds 5-6 large-diameter wine bottles in each section, which means that each rack can hold almost a case of 12.The racks are extremely simple to assemble, and each can easily be put together by one person in 10-15 minutes, though I must caution that the wood is very soft, so be careful not to over-tighten the screws. Once it is fully assembled, the rack is quite strong due to that internal cross bracing. They stack nicely, as you can see from the photos. The wood comes bare and could be stained or finished, but this is not fine cabinetry by any stretch of the imagination. While they were just what I needed for my out-of-the-way wine cellar, I would not recommend them for use anywhere as a display rack in your living or dining room.

The wood used is pretty crappy, things don't align properly and it looks cheap. I was using to store yarn, so I painted and mounted them. They'll work for my use, but I don't know that I would trust a wine collection to them. Also, I am not that handy but I think I could've built something similar for less.

This purchase is already a prized one! I bought the unfinished cubes and am pleased with the quality of the wood.First - packaging was amazing!!! Styrofoam lined the box and the pieces were together wrapped in light plastic.Second - instructions were easy to follow and screws were in padded envelopes so they wouldn’t damage the wood. Wood was pre drilled so no splitting and top/bottom pieces were counter sinked so the screws were flush with the wood.I thought these were smaller than actual size (this might be my bad)…these will hold more than a case of wine easily. Perhaps more than 18 750ml bottles.I would buy this again in the future!! As I expand my wine collection.

Easy to assemble. A little lightweight, but usable. Paint or stain first. Plain pine wood. May not look too good stained.

Stained and varnished ourselves. Annoyed screws are visible after putting together. Pieces had lots of glued parts that did not stain evenly. Thought a bit expensive for the blemishes and poor quality. Seems to do the trick although would not stack them very high if full.
