PRODUCT FUNCTION
1 Hour Meter (TOT) Function
- Tracking the number of total hours on the engine.TOT can be reset.
- When the engine is turned off, the total running time of the engine will be displayed and remain visible.
- Total Hours reading displays from 0 to 99,999 Hours, 0.1 hours accuracy.
2 Service Timers (SVC) Function
- Countdown to track time, Programmable maintenance reminder interval.
- The range is 0-99999 hours,0.1 hours accuracy.
- When the maintenance time is reached, the service warning icon will flash to remind you.
3 Tachometer (RPM) Function
- Accurately record your RPM while the engine is working.
- 3 selectable spark plug firing patterns:2P1R;1P1R;1P2R.
- The display range of the RPM is 0-30000 RPM, and the resolution is 10 RPM.
- RPM update time refresh rate: 0.5S.

I spent an hour trying to get it to work. Never got any reading from it. I was trying it on the plug wires of a 4 cylinder car.

It might work on some motors but was very inaccurate on a 30hp 4 stroke mercury outboard motor. The display would vary up/down from 100 to 500 rpm's with a steady throttle. All I can say is that it did not work for me so was returned for a refund.

This is a simple easy to install marine tachometer. The wire was too short but I added about 6 extra feet and it works flawlessly.

I've used this over a year for just over 10 hours no problems. This Tach/Hour meter was easy to install on a little cheap GenMax generator I bought on Amazon. I was able to cut the appropriate size window in the gen plastic, and mounted this meter in just a few minutes using the supplied instructions. It works as it should and has been pretty accurate keeping up with the run time, which was mainly my goal. The tachometer appears to work as it should also.

Used it on my motorcycle to tune the carbs, now it is on my lawn tractor engine. It runs on an internal battery which is not replaceable no idea how long it might last.
