But the tips weren't angled to get good definition, they were straight. I pushed them in a tiny bit and they're great now. It's definitely worth taking a few seconds to bend then a tich to save $$, about half the price of others. I've used them, washed them and their great now.

I am just letting you all know be very careful washing these. The wide parts of these are very sharp. I sliced my finger washing them for first time use

I live this set! I used it to decorate my Aunts birthday cake and they worked great! They are easy to clean and durable as they are made of metal. I don’t anticipate them ever really wearing out. If you like to decorate cakes you will like these for sure!

Since I bake lots of cupcakes, I'm a fan of the larger size piping tips and this set of 5 does not disappoint. The tips included with this set have pretty basic openings, and as such are versatile for creating a wide variety of frosting effects. One of the tips (plain opening) is sized smaller than the other four, but the piping effect is just fine. I've run these tips through the dishwasher a few times already and they cleaned up nicely. Overall, very pleased with these piping tips and they will definitely get a lot of use.

I do a fair amount of cake and cupcake decorating in my work with children, and I've wanted the big tips for awhile. When I saw these, I grabbed them right up, and they have sure come in handy. I'm able to pipe pretty designs on cupcakes, and decorate cakes so easily, it looks like I'm better than I am! They really are easy to use, and make such nice designs that can quickly turn your cake or cupcake into a masterpiece. I'm very pleased with them!
