Cord definitely needs an improvement as far as the length. Can't have pedals far enough away from speaker.

Even though these were labeled as going with the EON One Compact, I was hoping they would work with any USB outlet so I purchased both the 9V and 12V cables. I am happy to say they do indeed work with all types of USB outlets, so I can now turn my phone wall chargers and battery packs into power for my guitar pedals! I even attached a daisy chain to the 9V one and powered several of my analog overdrives with it and it worked wonderfully. The only thing to keep in mind with powering it off of a battery pack is that most battery packs are designed to power high current devices like phones, and so have built-in shut-off mechanisms if a current below a certain threshold is detected. So if you are trying to power one low current pedal with these off of a battery pack, it will shut-off after a short while. If I am only going to power one pedal I either plug into a wall charger or use a 9V battery clip with a rechargeable 9V battery. Also, since it can be easy to miss in the listing, the 12V cable is center positive, so you will need a polarity converter to use with most of the center negative guitar pedals. Luckily I purchased one intending to keep it as a spare when I purchased these, and after attaching the polarity converter to the 12V cable it powered my Diezel Herbert like a charm (and that is one of the pedals with a high enough current draw that battery packs don't auto-shut-off after a short while).So if you want to easily power your guitar pedals off the same devices you use to power and charge your other electronics, I can highly recommend these quality cables from JBL. Rock on!
