Works as expected, the wire has a high-quality braid to it. My use case was to get the input from a basic Shure dynamic mic into my stream. Plug and play operation (using Linux, for the folks out there who might be concerned about this working with Linux).

incredible easy and versatile by having a straight cable form the mic to my cell phone in order to record with higher quality tone my guitar riffs rather than using the cell phone mic.

In the picture, you can literally see the metal savings that come off when you plug it in, which is extremely hard the very first time. Something must be wrong internally because the court only picks up on the computer when it wants to (new computer & tested with old mic plug & it worked fine)There is a half a second delay in your vocals are speaking when recording. This was a waste of money, especially because I live in a rural area where we have no UPS drop offs or UPS stores even close 😩 so apparently, I can’t get my money back

I've had USB to XLR cables before (YEARS ago) and they didn't work that well. This one is near excellent but could usea bit more gate. Allows me to use any of my dynamic mics and record good audio on either my Android phone, tablet, or Windows PC. OK, good sensitivity if you're close enough or loud enough to the mic, but could likely more gain softer sounds. This is a little nuisance since the app on my phone doesn't allow the gain to be changed...

Le câble fonctionne très bien avec mon micro Shure SM58 sans fil. Par contre je n'avais pas pensé à une chose: si vous souhaitez faire du karaoke sur smule ou même enregistrer votre voix par dessus une bande son pré-enregistrée, il est impossible d'entendre la musique et chanter en même temps. Comme l'entrée usb C est à présent multifonctions sur les nouveaux smartphone (j'ai un samsung galaxy s21 fe), il est impossible pour lui de différencier la sortie son et l'entrée micro. Il croit que le micro est également un casque et refuse de faire sortir le son ailleurs (dans des écouteurs Bluetooth ou une enceinte par exemple).Il ne m'est donc malheureusement pas utile mais ce n'est pas du fait de ce câble d'excellente qualité.

You need an audio interface to plug any XLR microphone into a computer. This cable will connect your microphone and computer but without an audio interface, the sound quality will be low and full of static. An audio interface provides more gain, which will allow you to utilize the capabilities of an XLR microphone. This cable does not provide any audio gain.
