It seems to read all right, but the gauge was bent way to the side when it came out of the box. I don’t know if it happened shipping or manufacture. Yet, it seems to read pretty consistently and accurately.

I really liked the Big face on this tester. The Lens and cap fell off when removing from the box ,I was able to pop it back on. I'm not sure how accurate this unit is as i have another higher end unit and there about 30lbs difference between the two which means this was kind of a waist as i dont know which one is correct and ill have to find a 3rd option. I was using a bench press and followed directions .
