This installed easier on my 2023. While its the same length as the 2023 lever (10mm longer than previous years), it seems to stick out a little further. This allowed me to adjust another spline our two upward to make it easier to shift with my size 14 motocross boots. The knob on the end is also a little thinner and gives more clearance.The allen head screw is kinda dumb. I have no idea how one could get an allen wrench in there to tighten it. However, the OEM 10mm bolt worked fine and I can get in there with a wrench easy enough.

It worked as a perfect replacement on my 2008 KLR 650. One thing to note is these types of shifters work better when set slightly below the footage peg level

I bought this originally after I installed bigger pegs. The bigger pegs made it very difficult to get my foot under the shifter. This extended shifter was easy to install and allows enough space to get my foot under to shift. It seems to be good quality, and the fitment is perfect. I would suggest using your original shifters set screw, so that it will match your on board tool set.

Great fit, better ergonomics than the stock one. Just one recommendation, use the 10mm bolt from the old one, not the cheap Allen set screw it comes with.
