Excelente Lámpara, La utilice para reemplazar dos focos led regulables de 9 watts cada uno en un abanico de cielo, la lámpara funciona excelente porque también es de luminosidad regulable. Fácil de instalar solo conectar dos cables.

I removed the wattage limiter at the same time as I installed this wonderfully designed LED modification to my Hampton Bay ceiling fan — I used lever lock connectors in place of wire nuts — much easier and more secure — I couldn’t use the plastic shield/diffuser because it doesn’t have a hole in the middle to slide over the threaded rod that the glass globe attaches too — this is definitely dimmable but only goes down to approximately 10% brightness — for those not aware you can use the light button on the remote to dim the light — just hold the button down and the lights dim or get brighter — this LED ring fit perfectly over the threaded rod just above the collar that sets the height of the globe and below the existing 5W candle light LEDs that I also changed out — the original incandescent bulbs were useless and depressingly yellow and dim in an amber globe — the ring gets quite hot — I don’t know if removing the limiter or leaving the other bulbs in it is causing increased current generating more heat than there should be or if it’s just normal — setting the brightness to mid level is plenty bright for a bedroom — don’t use the light in the fan very often but when I did before undertakeing this modification the lights would flicker or not come on at all — I’ve been looking for a fix for the flickering/brightness since I moved in a year and a half ago — this exceeds my expectations

I prefer 4" lights as they are sized for most ceiling fans, and 5000K color temp which is a nice white light. I have been replacing LED light engines for several years, and whoever came up with the idea of using magnets to mount these is a genius. Much better than drilling, tapping, and making custom standoffs.What a difference an LED light makes; much brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs. I like 5000K color temperature, and the color from these is a little too blue for me at 6000K. This unit generates a lot of heat, this may be a concern for longevity in an enclosed light fixture. I have it installed in an enclosed fixture, and will report back any issues if it fails.The light comes assembled with the magnets. I thought this would not matter, but some of the competitor LEDs do not come assembled, and the plastic protector does not fit right. When the magnets are attached at the factory, the entire assembly already fits together correctly.The plastic connector included is junk; does not take enough wire to safely connect. I use which may be one of the best inventions for electricians in the 21st Century.I have found these seven products to all be the exact same items:1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) I would recommend the ULIKELED because the specs and pictures are accurate.
