They were gold. But they were very cheap and stripped out very easy. Spend a little more you won't regret it.

First screw I used striped out so I tried another one and the head snapped off.You can tell cheap metal was used in creating the screws.Buy your replacement screws from a guitar luthier.

If you do any of your luthier work, these are a must-have, and the price compared to elsewhere is better as well. I haven't had the kit long, but it has already saved me time and money trying to get the bits piecemeal.

These are fine for pickguards and whatnot, but don't use them on your tuning keys or hardware, they will break off with any kind of Torq. The neck screws also strip out pretty easily.

most seem slightly undersized compared to what I have on my guitars. probably would be fine for Chinese made guitars

Nice value for the money. There are springs for pick ups, as well. Very nice assortment of screws. Plus they're made of quality materials. If you need screws for guitar or bass, this is the best value.

Item is great and has a very nice gold colour. Very genuine look and would recommend to anyone. Unfortunately in my situation one of the screws I needed did not fit probably. Would suggest check specifications first. They were quick to approve a return. Hope this helps.
