Fairly light material, not quality, felt like it would snap. Did not tighten the neck of my alto enough to secure the neck.

Bought this as a lyre screw for my alto sax but whether it's holding a lyre or being used as a neck screw, it sticks out about a half inch. I'm trying to find som eway to shorten it
