The Dunlop picks are nice but they have their limits. I like the finger picks, they make a nice sound and are quite comfortable once adjusted properly. I found the thumb picks to be uncomfortable. All in all it’s a good value.

Good picks for a beginner. Decent price and a well know brand.

This is my 2nd set of Dunlop metal finger picks. I still have most of the first set (I lost one pick). I bought the first set about 25 years ago. I got a 2nd set just so I have a back up for lost picks etc. and the price is pretty good. They look exactly like the first set I purchase. I have always loved them and they work so well.

I’v been using Dunlop picks since I was a kid. .018 aren’t terribly stiff and can be easily shaped to fit your fingertips. Love that these come in a tube.

I like these a lot, they're your basic finger picks and they'll get the job done. I've ordered a few of these packs now. I just use a thumb pick and two fingers, and use the other three finger picks as backups. I'm not a great picker by any means, in fact I bought these to learn with. But they sure seem to do me just fine.I've used them for banjo, acoustic guitar, and lap steel. No reason why they shouldn't work on pedal steel when I get one of them. Only thing I'd warn you about is that they don't quite keep their shape when you mold them to your fingers. They keep it pretty good, but when I throw them in my case and get them out some time later, they're not exactly how I left them. But overall, I'd tell you to go ahead and buy these.

I have been playing guitar for many years but because of weak fingernails I have had to explore finger picks for use with my steel string guitars. I think I've tried every style and manufacturer of pick available and have struggled with all of them. Most metal picks are made from .025 gauge metal which which, in my opinion is a bit too stiff. The Dunlop picks are contoured to fit your finger tip and come in a variety of gauges. I have tried them all but find the .018s to be the sweet spot because they are easy to customize and thin enough to give some measure of "feel" when playing. I also like the ProPik fingertones.

Ça fait un bruit metalique à chaque contact. C'est dommage. J'ai essayé différentes positions et rien ne résout le problème.

Well, what can you say about Dunlop picks? They are the gold standard of finger picks and have been for goodness knows how long.I play guitar and banjo, but I bought these for banjo, not guitar. On the guitar I use only a thumb pick, but for banjo I use a thumb and two finger picks. Since there are four finger picks in this pack, it leaves me with two spares. I didn't really need the thumb pick, because I prefer plastic for the thumb, but I couldn't find a set at a good price that didn't include a thumb, and anyway it's good as a backup and even for the occasional use on some songs. If you are a beginner and/or not sure what gauge to buy, I recommend the .018" (the thumb in this pack is .025"), because .018" covers most needs and styles for banjo. When you have more experience you might prefer a different gauge, but the .018" will be a good start. These are excellent picks at a very good price point, and I highly recommend them for beginners and experts alike.

First off, the picks themselves are fine. I have used Dunlop guitar picks (Ultex) for years, and won't use anything else. And these picks for banjo's are perfectly fine. But these DO NOT CONTAIN A THUMBPICK. I think whoever builds these packs at the Amazon warehouse doesn't know the difference between fingerpicks and thumbpicks. It may say it includes a thumbpick, but no, you get 5 fingerpicks.Oh well, Amazon, just what I would expect. Good overall, but you are a general store, not a specialty store. If you want music gear, you are probably better off ordering from a company that specializes in music gear.
