They balanced up nice and and we’re easy to bias!! They could ship them with a little more protection. Two of them were out of the boxes in the bag, but luckily they did not seem to get damaged!!!!

I have a tube amplifier that can use kt88 or el34 tubes. After two years the kt88s were starting to fail. One would not bias at all. Installed the JJ el34s and wow what a difference. More of everything coming out of my speakers. Base treble beautiful midrange. I’m very happy with my purchase. The price is very reasonable,tubes nowadays can be very expensive.

Amazon support was very helpful when I reported the problem I had with one of the four tubes missing from the box. The warehouse packaging is also very disappointing when they shipped me four glass tubes inside a paper bag (no bubble wrap).I would recommend JJ tubes if you’re looking for a good replacement power tube or preamp tube. They get the job done and all seem to last 24 months before needing to be replaced.I play almost daily for an hour or less and have used several other brands with the same results, they last around two years then loose clarity and need to be replaced.I ended up ordering a full set directly from a reputable manufacturer who shipped them out in a box with plenty more protection inside.Pictures enclosed on how glass is shipped properly.

I popped this matched quad into an old Crate VC120 that I had sitting in the garage for years. It just needed a good cleaning, and some new tubes - I replaced all of the power and preamp tubes with JJ's. After I biased it and fired it up, I remembered why I loved this amp so much when I first got it. The tubes sound great, warm clean tones, but it gets plenty dirty when you need it to.Tubes are expensive, some matched quads go for $100 more than these - some more than that. Maybe one day I'll try those premium tubes, but I really don't see how much better they can make my rig sound. I am loving this amp again.
