Works great. Remember this uses UV light like a tv remote. It has to “see” the uv detector on the camera. Check your camera specs. The D3200 has 2 detectors, one on the front and one on the back.

Remote works but is not reliable on every click. It loves a VERY clear line of sight, and sometimes changing this just a little helped. You simply cannot rely on it to fire every time. If that's not a deal-breaker, for the price, go for it. I got it to work at 45'. For me, best option is setting camera to 2 sec delay which on the Nikon D750 will give you a solid white light on the front of the camera so you know it received the signal, then say cheese.

It was cheap ($8 on Black Friday). Can't buy the official one new anymore (they were ~$20) but there are imitators and used ones. It's twice as thick as the official Nikon ML-L3. The thickness make it easier to find inside a camera bag. The plastic seems flimsy so it may get crushed by the weight of the camera, unlike the official. Inserting the battery is a two- handed operation because the contact spring keeps popping the battery out.

Update 2: Returned the original and got a replacement. Replacement doesn’t work right out of the box. Seriously annoyed that Amazon is making me return a $10 defective product at Kohl’s but hey, I can return them both at once and save a trip! I wanted this to work because I love the clip feature but it appears to be junk. Look elsewhere.Update: Replaced the batteries and it still doesn’t work. Got like two practice shots with it before it bit the dust. Save your money!Got this before a hike where I wanted to take some long exposure water shots. It arrived, I opened it, tested it with the camera, all was working great. Put it in my trail pack so it would be ready to use. Two days later, I had set up my camera on the tripod, ready to go- and it didn’t work. I think the battery is already dead.
