Your cart is empty.Boomerang style shackle optimizes rear suspension travel by allowing full compression and extension of leaf springs. Extended length increases rear ride height 1 in. for improved tire clearance. Greasable Dura-Thane chassis bushing is included for smooth, quiet operation and easy lubrication. Rigid design prevents binding and bushing fatigue commonly associated with OE and inferior shackle designs. Heavy duty construction ensures correct operation of springs and bushings under severe off-road conditions. Durable powdercoat finish provides long-lasting protection.

I put 2008 Nissan Xterra 2wd leaf springs on a 1986 Jeep XJ for 4” of lift. They are 1.5” longer than XJ springs. The factory shackles were contacting the unibody. These solved that problem for me.

Cuts approximately 3/16" into the stress bearing part of the shackle setting you up for a crack and failure. Going directly in the trash. Do not buy. It's a shame. JKS has generally been overbuilt for items I bought in the past.

as somebody pointed out the 3/16 inch deep cut in the stress bearing surface is a qc problem i just welded over it with a mig welded then repainted it and hopefully they dont kill me. leveled my jeep perfectly now siting at a 2 inch above stock with moog zj coils with 3/4 inch spacer to level one side in the front and monroe sensatrac load leveling shocks and these shackle brackets lifted the back exactly two inches and now its dead level and rides perfect after an alignment.

No complaints as they did what I needed: 1” lift and didn’t change my ride quality. The added bonus is that these are greasable and keep stock shackle angle.

fit well and almost perfect. The powder coating is pretty brittle and chipped off during install. The only other complaint is there is a notch in the shackle were they folded the steel over, not a great design. Would be easy enough to route the laser cutter to make a small circle instead of a notch. Otherwise works great.

Put these on my 01 XJ paired with new Dorman stock height leafs, u bolts, and u bolt plates. They definitely provided the 1in of height and then some. Closer to 1.5in, but over the course of a year it’s settled to around the 1 inch mark, more due to the leafs and not the shackles. The shackles still look brand new and the fact that they have grease fittings is a huge plus.If you love it, keep it lubed.

Added an inch total over the stock shackles. Heavy duty construction. I agree with other reviewers that switching to a 45 degree angle zerk fitting would be a great mod BEFORE installing. That said, I was able to access the straight grease fittings that came with the kit...but simplify your life by making that 45 degree zerk upgrade at your local hardware store before installing. I did have to spread the ears on the shackles about a 1/8" on both shackles to fit over the leaf spring bushings, but that was easily done and did not impact the fit or installation.

Great shackles for 1994 XJ. Replacing the old shackles with these made a huge difference. They are really easy to install. Also, these shackles add an inch to a half an inch to the rear of the vehicle. Like others said, get a few 45 degree angle zerk fittings and put them in there, it is so much easier and adds space to fit a grease gun in there.
