I was really excited for this product until I saw my package at the door. The box doesn’t have any fragile stickers on it and it arrived with the box tore all the way around and taped back together. When I opened the box there was a chip in the mirror and scratches all over. Amazon customer service was great about it and luckily the delivery driver also reported the box as very damaged so I was able to be refunded. I still put up the mirror and it took me hours. Making sure it’s level, marking holes to be drilled, etc took a lot of time. The instructions say to put the bar up first but I recommend marking holes, then putting the top mirror up first because the bar blocks you from reaching the bottom middle screw with a screwdriver or drill. The bar itself comes with zero holes in it so I had to drill myself, and I found this type of wood very difficult to get a drill through. The mirror is pretty light so you don’t have to worry about it being too heavy for the wall or falling. My kids like this product but for the price I would think it would come packaged better at least. Maybe mine was a one-off situation but I wanted to share anyways

I bought two of these for our church nurseries. They are really nice and sturdy, but the bottom mirror on both, once screwed into the wall (no our screws weren't super tight to break the mirror or anything) are very bowed looking. The reflection is a bit off, still works, but off, which is a bit disappointing. They do look really nice aside from that. It was a bit difficult to put up, especially since there are no predrilled holes in the pull-up bar. It took my husband about 45 minutes to put up one. Overall, a good product, but not amazing.

My daughter loves this mirror and bar! The rail is sturdy and the size is easy for my baby to grasp (she’s six months so we’re still holding her). She smiles and laughs staring at herself in the mirror. The mirror isn’t as clear as a regular mirror - about the same quality of the safety mirror you use for your car/car seat) , but it’s fine (it doesn’t make me get sick looking into it like some cheap baby mirrors do). We’re hoping it will aid her in standing and then walking, and will move the mirror/bar up in height as she grows. We have it a little lower now so she can grab the bar when seated to aid her in standing. I’ll probably just add some kind of padding for now as an extra precaution (while she’s learning to stand/walk). It was easy to install and I would highly recommend this (developmentally and just seeing the pure joy she has while using it).

I love that there’s a mirror on the floor level and above the bar to encourage my baby to pull herself up but still be able to benefit from seeing her reflection while playing on the floor, too. I like that it’s sturdy and can definitely support her weight as she pulls herself up. I also like the minimalistic look it has. To install it, you have to find the studs in your wall, which, for us, was difficult since we have plaster walls. But once my husband found them he installed the bar easily. The only problem we ran into was that if we put the lower mirror above the floor trim, the bar was too high for our daughter to be able to reach from a sitting position. So we ended up screwing it to the bottom of the trim all the way to the floor and then to the bar itself so there is a small gap between the lower mirror and the wall. Even that way she still hasn’t been able to pull herself up yet at almost 11 months. But she loves practicing and loves even more when we stand her up so she can grab on and stay standing while looking at herself in the mirror. We have the floor mirror from Jonti Craft, too, and I’m so glad we upgraded to this one for these more mobile months.

This item comes well-packed in 3 pieces- the 2 mirrors and the wood barre set up (which is already put together for you). You will need a drill, pencil, tape measure, stud finder and a decent level for install. The mirrors come with pre-drilled holes. The barre does not for safety reasons, so you will need a drill for piloting holes. Hardware is provided, but you know your house and studs best, so you may need to use your own screws for the barre install if wall and studs are not standard depth/width,etc.All pieces are high quality. The mirrors are not distorted- they are studio quality and properly protected for shipment and install. The solid wood barre is extremely well made, with obvious care. Smooth rounded corners, safe finish, solid wood for weight bearing, perfect barre size and shape for small hands. The instructions are clear and easy to understand.Installation is actually not as difficult as some might suggest. It just takes a little care and time to make sure it is installed correctly. For a child's safety, the wood barre really must be installed into the studs. *No one should be complaining about this piece not having pre-drilled holes because it would be extremely unsafe to assume that everyone has studs in the exact same place*. Our oddly framed out under-window area certainly did not have the standard spacing and was not symmetrical. The hardest part of the install is finding the studs and measuring out the proper placement on the wall for pilot holes. We piloted two on each side because of the odd framing being smaller, but Jonti-Craft shows how to pilot a triangular 3 screw, 2-3 point install which would actually be even safer if your studs allow for it. Once you have your barre up and level, the rest is a breeze. We absolutely love it, and most importantly, so does the baby. We will update in a year.

Bought this when my son was 11 months and starting to cruise. HE *LOVES* IT! Love, love, loves it! He's now a little over 12months and is quite nimble standing up at the bar. He just smiles with so much glee as he gets up and once he's up at the bar - he's just thrilled. Such zeal. We put little stuffed animals at each end of the bar to encourage him to cruise back and forth and he does. And he's smiling from ear to ear the entire time. I'd been wanting to get something like this for his play / romper room, and then somehow miraculously came across it with baby-friendly mirrors and was thrilled. We installed the bar and wooden backsplash in the middle upside down actually to make it at the right height for our son. We flip it as he grows taller. Really pleased with this product. Mirror quality is good. Wood is nice and smooth. My only complaint / suggestion is that they cover / coat the metal parts that support the bar with something silicone-ish bc my son does bite down on it (as do most babies / toddlers his age)!
