I’ve tried a few different substrates for in my ball python’s enclosure, so far this has been the absolute best for maintaining a healthy moisture (others seem to get too wet or dry out altogether), it helps keep any smells at bay which keeps her from stressing out, and my pretty girl likes this a lot more than any others I’ve tried. One bag was perfect for a good layer in the bottom of her 12X30 inch enclosure .

Good mulch but I wish it was chopped up better. Some sticks are as long as 7 or 8 inches

There is slot of product in the bag so it’s a good value. The only problem is some of the pieces are very large but I mix with fine coconut so it balanced out. My Tortoise seems to like digging and burrowing in it
