I have used the previous double stick mounted tape version of this product. It was manageable because the Magsafe head did not swivel or rotate. Unfortunately, this feature has been added, as if it was a major upgrade. This causes the device to sag the phone down, tilt the phone in a unpredictable position and make it generally useless if you need to depress a key on your phone because you can’t lock the charging plate in place! This is a major design flaw! How hard is it to provide locking screws with this product to keep it in one position at all times! Using this product is like trying to catch a jellyfish. It renders the product completely useless. With great regret I am returning it for credit. These folks need to have a 800 number that you can connect with which they don’t. And they need to take customer feedback seriously so that their product works the way it’s supposed to. This has Not been the case with this version and I’m sorry to say I have to return it. NEEDS LOCKING SCREWS!

I'm utterly furious! I purchased the JOWUA 6D Invisible Foldaway Car Mount with high hopes of finally having a reliable solution for holding my phone while driving. But guess what? After just five months of use, this product has proven to be nothing but a waste of money. Spending $50 on a car mount seemed excessive but I figured it looked sturdy and sleek so I decided to try it.Let's start with the adhesive. Oh, what a joke! Despite the manufacturer's claims of superior stickiness, the adhesive on this mount couldn't hold a feather after a light breeze. Within weeks, it started peeling off, and I had to consistently press it onto the back. And as if that wasn't frustrating enough, the adhesive completely gave out after a measly five months! What kind of quality is that? Its supposed ability to carry the weight of an iPhone 13 Pro Max was clearly not reliable, as the mount kept sliding down and every 10 minutes I had to push it up. Extremely disappointed with the product and now the adhesive doesn't seem to be sticky enough. No matter how hard I try to stick it to the screen, it doesn't seem to work. Please save yourself some money and buy a different product.

Am Anfang war ich begeistert. Lockere 5 Sterne Bewertung!Doch nach 4 Monaten stellte sich ein nicht behebbares Klappergeräusch ein. Es kommt immer dann, wenn ein Handy am Lader ist, aus dem Kugelkopf des Ladeteil.Um mir das ganze in Ruhe anzuschauen, wollte ich es komplett abmontieren. Da fing das Drama erst richtig an. Die Klebefläche des Suktion Cup klebt zu stark an der Bildschirmrückseite des Tesla und löste sich zu 50% komplett ab. Die Reste am Bildschirm klebten dann auch noch sehr gut und konnten nur mittels Etiketten Entferner beseitigt werden. So war das nicht gedacht! Für den Kaufpreis dann jetzt nur 1 Stern

It seems sturdy out of the box. The adhesion works well. But once you put your phone on it, you will see your phone/mount slowly start to move downwards. Super annoying if you're trying to position it just right. For $56.43, this is ridiculously overpriced and you should just get a cheaper alternative

Loving this phone mount. Charges my phone whilst giving access to Waze and other non Tesla apps. Can angle towards the driver and place wherever works best for you. Best of all, when not using it can be folded behind the centre screen so as to keep the minimalistic aesthetic of the car. I installed in just a few minutes, meaning no visible cords. Strong MagSafe ring that holds the phone in place over bumpy roads. Worth every penny.

I never write reviews for products, but for this one I just feel like I had too. There’s a lot of reviews out there saying negative things about this mount but I’ve had no issues. The reason I got this mount in the first place is because I had to do a 13 hour road trip and wanted to prop my phone up. This mount didn’t disappoint or cause me any type of trouble in that road trip. The phone stayed attached to the mount the entire duration without falling off, and very little shaking. The sticks onto the mount pretty well, but I will say that having a MagSafe case definitely helps as MagSafe isn’t the strongest magnet out there. Now, only time will tell if the adhesive stays but so far it seems like it’s seriously stuck on there with no movement. I do live in Texas so I’m not sure after a months how the Texas heat will affect the adhesive. One thing to note is make sure you know exactly where you want to put it before you stick it on there, because once it’s stuck you’re not gonna be able to reapply it. Overall though, this mount looks like it belongs in the M3. It’s very clean and minimalistic. I absolutely love how you can fold it and hide it behind your screen when you’re not using it - it looks like you don’t have a mount at all. The quality’s great and yes it’s definitely not a cheap mount but I believe it’s worth for the money if you’re looking for a minimalistic mount that fits in your m3/y and you don’t have to attach any sort of magnet strip on the back of your phone. 100% would recommend over any over m3 mount.

I was looking for a phone mount for my Model Y. The options for phone mounts are a bit limited since there are no vents and smooth surfaces are limited. This is the perfect mount. It is made of solid aluminum well constructed and extremely sturdy and durable. Most importantly when not in use it folds away and out of sight. I installed the MagSafe version and it holds well. The comments about the lack of magnetic adhesion are mostly due to the user’s case. I use a MagSafe phone case and the adhesion is fine. If you’re experiencing the phone falling off during a bump try a MagSafe specific iPhone case and that should solve the problem. A newer version permits charging. However if I need to charge the phone the design permits you to attach a lightening cable.

I've been through at least 3 different iPhone holders in the past and they all either fail, wobble while I drive, or are visible. I wanted a holder which would fold away when not in use so I won't see it while driving, so that it doesn't clash with the minimal look of the Model 3.Be aware that this is a MagSafe holder made for iPhones, so I am not sure how well it would work for non-iPhones.Also, I didn't use the corner locator guide it came with and instead stuck it in such a way which suited what I preferred. Still works perfectly.
