this mirror made my 06 corolla look way more new, definitely helps with blind spots, and the installation took about 10 seconds. all you do is clip it onto your old mirror and it sits on the old one nice and snug!! it doesn’t even look silly from the side of it

I recently purchased a nearly 20 year old vehicle and the rear view mirror in it is all scratched up and cloudy. I turned to Amazon for a replacement, but discovered this instead. Instead of trying to pry the old one off and deal with gluing a new one one, I thought I would give this one a shot.For installation, this thing is a 10/10. The mirror simply slips over your existing mirror and the spring-loaded supports hold it in place. It takes five sections to install and is surprisingly sturdy. It doesn't move or wobble or anything.The fish-eye lens takes a little getting used to. My rear windows, which used to fill the entire view of my old mirror, are now like 1/4 of the total view. With this mirror you can see all the way out both sides of all your side windows. You can also see the face of whoever is in the driver and passenger seats, and anyone else in the car. It's a bit like looking into one of those convex security mirrors that stores used to have. The unique view makes it a little more difficult to see exact distances (like how far a car is away from you), but what you lose in depth-of-view (is that a word?) you gain in field of view. With this mirror you can see cars on both sides of you and behind you all at the same time.The first two days I owned the mirror I kept thinking about returning it and now I absolutely love it and will definitely keep it. It takes getting used to, but now that I am I really like the additional field of view it adds.

Do you need to keep an eye on the kids or dog in the back seat? This is great for that. But as for a better view out the back window, that will depend on your car. I felt my original mirror was small... a tunnel view out the rear hatch. However, I found (as others report) that I already had 100% of the view out that window that was possible. This and other panoramic mirrors at best let you see all the inside of your car. I had hoped it would add some view out the rear side windows of the hatch area. Nope. A great view of me and everyone else in the car, as well as the headrests and seat backs. That's not a help for me. But if it's what you seek, this is exceptionally clear with no borders and easy clip in place, at the lowest price.
