Very well designed. Both ends were more secure than the original spring. The only improvement would have been if it had been packaged wound a little tighter so you could just slide it in before taking off the wire wrap. It almost slid in without unwinding it. Went in smoothly during the rewinding insertion process though.

Listing says it will fit the Honda GX160.It doesn’t fit well and it DOES NOT WORK.The coil seems to be much longer than the OEM one. It causes binding, limits the pull and doesn’t allow the cord to be pulled back into the unit properly.The diameter of the unit as it’s packed won’t allow you to just slip it into the GX160 recoil housing. You’ll have to unroll (dangerous) and re-reroll it into the housing. Very inconvenient.I installed this according to the OEM directions.The quality actually seems good. The packing was fine.This may work fine for other engines.
