I breed platy fish and this box allows the fry to get away from the mother after birth. It does exactly what it is ment to do. It is also very easy to clean when not in use. I have not used the splitter yet but I will when I breed guppies.

I liked the idea of this but when one of my female guppies got stick in the cylinder holes, I had to take it out. Thankfully, I’m often checking on my fish because she was stressed out because there was no way for to extricate herself. This may be fine for larger fish but not Guppies or Endlers.

It worked great for the most part. Some of our fry got stuck in the openings but for the most part it did what we needed it to do.

Suction cups fell off the glass, the breader box fell down into the tank, and all the babies got out.
