Not practical, unless you have itsy-bitsy things you wanna put in there. I ended up putting a little clue in each box as to where they could find their gift that day. Like a little treasure hunt.

This is a great addition to my holiday decor. The boxes were all functional and the numbers were put on correctly. I really enjoy the different sizes and the pearl pulls are very pretty. Some boxes lived through being dropped on tile flooring…toddlers. I would definitely recommend.

This Advent Calendar looks nice and it will work for what we want. It is not the best made, but I knew that from the other reviews. I bought 2 and only 1 drawer is tricky to get out due to the front piece of wood being cut too big on one corner. To solve that issue, we just won't push it in all the way.As you can see some of the insides are not constructed well, but it will work.I like the different sizes for different size items.Overall a little expensive for the quality, but there weren't many choices to choose from.

I choose this one because the drawers are different sizes and have quite a few big drawers. You can use this year after year because it's made of wood. Also, it's super cute

It was a beautiful advent calendar but I bought 3 and one of them is missing a number 4, I got 2 drawers that say 9. Another calendar of my 3 had a drawer fall apart when I pulled it out. The third one I bought is great. 2 out of 3 are defective. The Pearl knobs on drawers are beautiful, however they are very loose and it’s all fragile. I hope children will be careful enough to not lose parts. I wrote the seller and sent pictures and no response! I had to buy crazy glue and try to glue parts together. And I need to figure out how I can put a #4 on one drawer. Very disappointed in this seller for not responding!

I like that these drawers are many different sizes, enabling me more options on what to fill them with. The pearl knobs are nice too, it’s well made and will last.

One of the drawers falls down into the drawer below it a little but otherwise it's pretty decent quality. The drawers are small, but I think they're appropriate for an advent calendar you're making yourself. That way you don't go overboard on what you're putting in there!

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and how much you can fit in the drawers. I only wished this came in more colors and designs.

Almost went for a different style that was cuter.However all but the smallest drawers on this will fit a gift card. A different model i was considering could not fit one even in the largest.You can move drawers of the same size around if you want to have to hunt for the next number.Small drawers will easily fit a lego minifg plus more, actually you could probably squeeze 4 in there.Rest of the drawers easily fit a gift card plus more.Yes the drawers are lightweight wooden front with thick pressboard or cardboard glued together to make the rest of each drawer. But it looks like it will manage when only used once a year.I did have one drawer that the front was glued on a little off. Made it a tight fit in the drawer. A little bit of sandpaper fixed that up.So overall it should work very well. Worst case is probably the glue on a drawer coming apart which some glue will probably fix well enough.The drawer sizes give lots of options of what to put in over the years and that was the deciding factor for me.
