This is an awesome axe throwing set for indoor or outdoor play. The board is sturdy and the targets are clear. The axes have a good weight to them and they stick in the board firmly when thrown with a little force. It's a great size for my basement, but is also awesome to bring outside during the nice weather. I hung it on a piece of plywood and leaned it against my shed. There is no assembly, just remove from the box and start throwing. Great, safe fun for the whole family!

Fun game but the handles on the axes broke pretty quickly. They need to upgrade those nd it would be perfect

I got this as a gift for my husband but it’s been fun for the whole family. Our youngest at 2 years old all the way up to our oldest at 15 years old love to play with this axe throwing game! Works well, hasn’t bent or broken any pieces after a month of play already. Good sturdy structure and play axes don’t easily fall out after being thrown.

My son and his friends absolutely love this game! I can’t lie, the adults love to play with it too. It’s so much fun, and the “axes” stay in when you throw them, instead of the cheaper games where they fall right out. Great quality and survived one summer season with a bunch of 7 year-olds so I’m impressed.

I got this after trying both real axe throwing and a standup backyard style similar to this one. This one is just as fun but mounts to the wall.So, for wall mounting, you really have to be careful with where you put it if your kids are as young as my (first grade and below) because they miss spectacularly at any distance on a regular basis.When you have a good throw it grabs the axes easily and holds them in place (which is important to the fun level because it's very dissatisfying when they fall out or bounce off). The target area seems to be a standard size for the backyard throwing style.Other than potentially needing to touch up the glue on the foam accents it appears that it will be very durable.The current $60 price is in line with some of the best store prices I've seen.

I’ve been eyeballing target sets for my son for Christmas and was about to go for one on a stand before I stumbled upon this. It mounts on the wall which makes it one less thing to take up floor space. I suppose I could have stored it in the garage and used it for outside play it had the stand, but what 8 year old boy doesn’t like to throw things in his room-especially when he’ll have our ok!The board itself seems sturdy and the axes aren’t bad. I do like that they’re plastic instead of foam and have a bit of heft, but definitely feel they could have been more substantial. I’ll have to give an update once it gets some use from my spawn and his buds about how it holds up to a group of feral youngsters.
