pegs stay firmly attached to the loom. they hold the yarn and make knitting off better for me than the thin pegs in a 3/4" gauge set-up. the price is not excessive, but i wish they would package enough pegs in each unit so that you only need to buy 2 packages (not 3) to configure the largest loom size with them. i enjoy using these pegs with my large gauge projects on the kb mult-knit loom.

I purchased 2, 50 count bags. 25 of the 100 looked like the 2 on the right, in the picture. The rest were fine. I needed the full 100 for a project.

I love the jumbo sized pegs! These jumbo pegs are perfect for Bernat baby blanket yarn. When I set up my KB adjustable loom for it, I only use every other peg. I bought 2 packs of the pegs and the size turned out great for a lap blanket. You'd need 3 packs for a larger blanket. I will say that I do have carpel tunnel and I have to get my brother to help me remove the pegs sometimes when I need to adjust them, but that's no fault of the product. I have a very weak grip. If you also have a weak grip like me, you could try using a soft jaw plier to remove them if you don't have anyone else to help.

I needed so decent pegs to create a diy loom for blankets and these worked perfectly. Although they probably wouldn't work for very thick materials, they were perfect for what I needed them for.
