I had been hoping for better with these jump ropes. We have some standard cheaper ones, and I wanted something sturdier. Here's my feelings about these:These jump ropes are a nice length. They fit my 13 y.o. daughter nicely, and she's pretty tall for her age. But they also worked for my 7 y.o.The string itself has worked well for us so far. (We've only had them for about a week, though...) The beads on the string do get dirty (I don't know if you can see that in my pictures), but that's to be expected.The handles leave a lot to be desired. On the purple jump rope, one of the handles fell off. When that happened, I tied a larger knot on the end to keep it from falling off again. See the pictures-- I pulled the string up through the handle so you can see the original knot and which one I re-tied. On the blue jump rope, both handles fell off. One of them cracked when it was stepped on (which is normal use when jumping rope!), and the other is intact, but they both fell off. I will have to re-connect them and tie larger knots at the ends... But this should not have happened with higher quality jump ropes. I am disappointed.I hope the rest of the rope (the string and beads) last longer... once I've re-connected everything.

My daughter recently learned how to jump rope at school, so I got these for her and her friends to play in the yard. The beads are made of soft plastic, so it’s really lightweight and doesn’t damage the floors or make a loud smacking sound as it hits the floor, but as such, they don’t feel like they’ll hold up very long against concrete. These jump ropes are recommended for 8-12 years old, but they’re very long (even my 5’6” could use them comfortably). The product doesn’t come with instructions on how to adjust it, but it’s very easy to figure out and directions are also in the product images).

Good jump ropes for kids. Came in a pack of 2. You can remove some of the plastic segments to make it shorter for younger kids.

These are great, honestly. My kids (one very good at jump rope, one just learning) have been using them for about two weeks and they seem sturdy. They are a lightweight but durable.I was able to adjust the size for my smaller child (age 6) by removing some of the "beads," which was a little bit tricky, but I figured it out within a few minutes. We held on to the extras so we could add them back in as needed. I like that the ropes are two different colors so that they can easily tell which one is theirs -- especially since one is now shorter.This will be a staple summer toy, and the price is great for two.

These are your classic basic jump ropes! I got them for the price, because I'm really not gonna pay a lot of money for something that's literally just a long string. But I'm actually really happy. I got these exact ones because they're very customizable and even if my kid outgrows both of them I feel like I can go get my own string and make it longer by simply adding back the links that I removed. The little links are just long beads, and the whole jump rope can be deconstructed very easily to make it shorter, or longer if you have your own string and you cut the one that came with. The inside string is literally just a cord, you could find it at a store for a few bucks.I got these for my four-year-old, and as it turns out maybe I got it a little too soon for his fine motor skills but he's starting to understand the idea of a jump rope and he's having a blast. The jump rope was able to fit him at 43" tall, and the other one unadjusted was able to fit my husband who is 6'5". You can make the rope as small as you want it, and I feel like someone even taller than my husband could probably still work with the rope just holding it slightly different. So unless the person you're shopping for is over 7' then I feel like this will work.They work great, easily size adjustable, are your basic jump rope, and they're a great price.

My daughter wanted a jump rope to use - so I went looking for a good option. I was skeptical of the beads on the rope, thinking that these beads were plastic and would break quickly as the rope hit the ground and body parts over time. However, the beads are a rubbery material and very flexible. I expect eventually, we will get some wear on them, but these jump ropes will last a long time. I am very happy with the purchase and so is she!

I ordered these jump ropes for my daughters to play with. I like that the beads add some weight to the rope, making it easier for my girls to twirl. They were easy to adjust for my kids’s height. I don’t expect to revert them to their longer lengths, but its nice to have the option if you save the beads.
