About this item

  • The Jungle Wheels stand-on-sulky from Jungle Jim's gives you a competitive advantage because you can mow faster, easier, and leave lawns looking better with no unwanted tracks.
  • Jungle Jim's realizes that sulkies without wheels can cut into the turf and cause imbalance, which produces an uneven cut.
  • The revolutionary third pivot point and rear-weighted design of the Jungle Wheels enables an even cut across the roughest terrain. The Hook Up feature comes standard and maximizes trailer space. (Patent # 5,413,364) Even Striping A unique advantage to the two-wheel Jungle Wheels design is that unlike one wheel units, the wheels follow the mower tracks, allowing the operator to stripe a yard without unwanted tracks.

Time will tell but this thing feels like it is all it can do to hold me up without collapsing. The good news is replacement parts are easy to order unlike some other sulkies.

Great quality sulky. Put this behind my old Exmark and it hooked up to the existing mount on the mower. Had to cut the nub off the hinge pin to get the locking pin the other side. No other modifications other than that. Was able to cut my mowing time in half by being able to run the mower almost wide open instead of being limited to how fast I could walk.

I replaced my old sulky with this new Sulky because of how often I had to replace wheels/tires, and because the attachment linkage was getting worn. I tried many tires, but none lasted, and my choices were sometimes limited because of arbor size. This new sulky is substantial, appears to be well built, well thought out with tight linkage/pivot points with grease fittings. The wheels appear much more durable than anything I could find, or would fit on my old sulky, and the tires are 4 ply. In this respect; possibly I should or rated it at five stars instead of four. However;1. I have no idea how long the wheels and tires will hold up; and is the main reason I purchased (having bearings failing and or flat tires continuously all summer gets old) … only time will tell.2. The manor in which this sulky is made, places the axle and wheels on this sulky in front of the operators feet. This causes a consistent upward force to be placed on the front of the sulky and its connecting linkage. This has caused my mower drive wheels and tires to loose traction, and spin, where as before, with my old sulky, there was no issue.I am going to make some adjustments to the attachment linkage and install a steel plate to the rear of my mower which will enable me to make the linkage connection to the mower lower down. This may help some however with forward axle and wheel placement of this sulky I don’t think any weight transfer forward and down can be created; I can only hope to eliminate some of the upward lift. So, in this respect, I suppose I could rate this sulky at three or less as it may be of absolutely no use to me and a complete waste of money. But I don’t want to be unfair to the seller. Considering others weight, type of mower, and lack of any slopes, hills, or mounds on their property (and of course most sulky sellers have disclaimers about not using sulkys on any type hills; yea, sure; who has completely flat property) this may be a non-issue to many.So I’ll keep it a four rating and allow possible buyers to consider these comments and whether, considering them, this would be a likely five rating, or one rating, for you.

I replaced the exact set of wheels that broke, the weak link is the weld where the arm attaches to the swivel part. I welded it back to try and save the 300 to replace but I didn't think it would hold and it didn't. Overall good product I am not sure where they are built probably US company parts outsourced like everything else. The first set lasted 8 years which I hope I get that out of these however they should last a lifetime as much as they cost but you can't expect that nowadays can we. Instructions are bad I am glad I already had the old set that I looked at and figured it out.

It seems very well built. I fabricated a cross member to mount hitch to Dr. Field and Brush mower. Unit works fine. Update: 5/15 It still works fine. I suspect the review with blown tires was operator error. Update: 6/9 still working fine.

I installed this on my walk behind premier DR Field and Brush mower. I fabricated a bracket with angle iron and put it on. It works great. Very high quality. Also it was the cheapest on Amazon.

While it takes a ride or two to get used to using this. I was able to finish my jobs a lot faster. This product is made out of quality steal. So it should hold up to the demand needed. It is heavier then what i thought it was going to be. With yhat said it will put more stress on the motor but finishing a job in 20 min vs 40 min. Walking is worth it. As you will be able to take more clients. When i purchased this product I thought it will take at least 7 to 10 days for delivery. At least that's what the Check out said. But to my surprise I received it within two days which was great. An A+ for the fastest delivery of any product I have ever purchased from Amazon.
