These are truly the easiest and most cost effective way to transition your old 'cans' with the big PAR38 lgights to LED.Plus the added benefit that now this opening is truly sealed. Except, they could have added some tiny layer of soft sealing to the rim...The only two things I am not overly happy with are:1. They don't really dim down enough to the lovely 'glow' you are used to from conventional light bulbs. It's still quite bright- at least with my dimmer.2. The color temperature is a bit on the cool side. I set it to the warmest you can set it to (2700K), and it still is a bit 'grey', especially when you dim it down.

The good: Puts out a good flood of light. The selectable “color” (from a reddish yellow or “very warm” to a blueish white or “cool”) is a nice add. It is clearly designed to “set once”, as accessing that control requires dismounting the light. It comes with a power cord that adapts to a standard light bulb screw base to make it a “plug n’ play” replacement.Drawbacks: The port that the 6” power cord plugs into, as well as the color temperature control are both in the top of the light unit. This leaves very little space to either plug in the light or make adjustments to its color output. Fortunately, this should only need to be done once so I didn’t deduct any starts for that. We have existing lights of this type that are about 7 years old (LEDs last a long time). There was no way to match the output of this light to the others, so we would need to replace all the lights to get a uniform look. I’ll post more photos once I find a good spot for it.

My home, built in the 1970s, boasts canned lights throughout. While the majority have been upgraded to LED T24s, one incandescent remains. The Juno 65SEMW HL SWW5 90CRI M6 E series switchable white trim kit is a versatile solution from China. This downlight seamlessly integrates with my lone incandescent fixture when using the included socket adapter. The connector's resistance-free insertion and removal surprised me, as I expected a snug fit to prevent accidental slips. To my relief, the adapter has remained securely in place.Given the challenge of finding 3500k LED lights, the switchable color temperature of the Juno trim kit is a game-changer. It allows me to match the lighting in the room effortlessly, all without needing an app.For those seeking a replacement light that effortlessly matches the color temperature of their existing fixtures, the Juno 65SEMW HL SWW5 90CRI M6 E series switchable white trim kit proves to be an excellent choice.► PROS: 😊Includes socket adapter for incandescent cansFive switchable color temperaturesDimmable from 100% to 10%50,000-hour life span► CONS: 😞The quick-connect connection fits loosely

This is not your average L.E.D upgrade light. I love this thing! it was a breeze to install, (less than a minute) but it has to be a replacement for a standard recessed light with a screw in bulb. I like the fact that it has the selector switch built into the back of the light so you can select which range of light you wish to have it can go from soft white (almost beige) to a super white (almost blue). If you haven't switched your old style recessed lights out to L.E.D. by now what are you waiting for? unless you like spending all of that cash on electricity bills. This swap could not be any easier you pull the old light down remove the spring retainers and out it slides from the installed light frame. Then you re-hook this lights spring retainers and screw the plugin adapter and plug onto the new light. Then turn the light on and select the setting you wish for the light temperature (bright/soft). It's really that simple to swap these out and you are burning about 10 percent of the energy you used for a standard bulb. Like I have stated these lights rock! and you can't go wrong it should last around 10yrs give or take so, I say buy these they are worth every dime.

The night this was dropped off it was raining, this was left beside the house under ther eve, instead of on the covered front porch. The entire thing got drenched. Both outer, and inner boxes. Being an electrical item, I'm not going to try to use it. The light itself was only slightly wet, but still....idk. I'll give it a 3 star because it was prompt and it lookedand felt well made, but I'm not chancing it.

Replacing the can light in my shower simply could not have been easier. It took more time to get out and put away my step ladder than to screw in the cable and push in the tension clamp. One thing I really loved was the adjustable color temp. After I picked this up I replaced some other lights in my house from other brands and this Juno kit offered the most color options. Selecting a color temp is easy but does require the unit be removed from the housing. I don't think there's any way to change that and didn't really mind it.I'm incredibly happy with this and would definitely reccomend.

It's good to know that lights are being designed which can be retrofitted in older cans, which is how this is being used. At first this appeared to be an easy upgrade, just requiring screwing in the adapter where the bulb had been, connecting the plug to the light and feeding it back into the can.Well, we've discovered that most projects have an occasional curve and this was no exception, as the base of this light fixture being deep and round, didn't fit into the cone shape that held the previous bulb. So we were required to do our own retrofitting by cutting the base of this cone and still leaving the light bulb screw assembly and attaching ring, to make room for the base of the new light.Overall we are pleased but do wish that the light had a wider spread, as the light being recessed so far up into the housing it tends to spot down, more than spread out. Overall It's a nice upgrade and will be a cost savings too with being LED.
