The best $6 I've spent in a while, and absolutely worth every penny! Upon opening up the kit, I was briefly worried about having enough supplies, good instructions, and overall ability to complete this. I'm pleased to say that the instructions were literally step by step -with pictures, there was plenty of wool, and even some extra for adding something to it. My raccoon is a bit wonky and lopsided, but being my very first needle felting creation, I'd say he's perfect! All the other reviews with pics are really great as well - ❤️

I gave this to an adult friend for Christmas. She was able to do the project I a short time and made an adorable owl! While easy to do, the needles are very sharp, so kids should be supervised.

Such a cute idea but in reality there isn’t enough wool material included to make this design unless you’re already an expert. The instructions are minimal.

This was my first felting project. By the pictures under the project I thought I was getting a nice fabric pad and finger gloves but I guess I should have read the fine print. They gave you enough wool and the colors are nice. However, the needles in my opinions are not of good quality and two broke immediately. I wish there were instruction on how wool and which needle to use. The QR code to the YouTube video was a nice addition.

I've never tried felting before so I thought I'd give this a shot. I ordered the raccoon kit and everything that you need to create the item is included- the felt material, the needles, a foam pad, instructions. Since I've never done this before, I scanned the QR code to watch the "how-to" video on YouTube. The video is pretty long (like 26 minutes) and its just a visual video, no talking or anything but I did find it helpful. I've not started this project yet, but I am looking forward to it. Its a small & simple enough project that I feel it is probably a great starting point for beginners. It didn't cost so much that I feel it would be a waste of money if I mess it up. Overall, I rated this item 4 out of 5 stars. Its not expensive, the kit includes everything you'll need and the little raccoon is adorable. I would recommend this item- it would also make a fun gift.
