Tighten the bolt in the back of the mirror if it’s flopping around too much. Only other drawback I see is that they seem to eat up door hinge bushings. Could probably be remedied with a few extra washers.

Does well in a pinch but the mirrors tend to shake out of position pretty easily

2006 LJR. The setup was easy. Very straightforward. Nice sized mirrors to see behind.Reason for 4 stars is even at lower speeds (driving in town) the mirror shakes. You're still able to make out traffic behind you. At highway speed the mirrors shake way to much. Yes nuts were tight. Mirror screws were tight. My old supercycle mirrors were smaller but did not shake. Only reason I went with these was that the newer supercycle mirrors don't fit into the door hinge.Would I purchase these again. Yes. Just because of the size of mirror. Zero distortion and quality materials. I cannot put quick connect mirrors on due to my snorkel in the way on my window frame.

Simple to put together and very helpful with the doors off. Definitely more affordable than other options out there. They do have a little bit of a whistling sound depending on driving speed, which isn’t terribly annoying or super noticeable with the music up. They have a slight vibration at times. But for the price and purpose to be able to see behind me while driving, they’re worth it.If you don’t need anything fancy, I would recommend.

Not bad. Initially was disappointed that the mirrors were not convex but it serves the purpose. Doesn't vibrate much. Has a nice whistling sound at speeds of 50 +It's nice, loving the open Jeep feel.

These install easy. They take some adjusting to get the right angle to see out of them and are a little tricky to get them tight enough that the wind won't move them but they are not bad for the price.

At that price point, don't ask for much more. These let you drive without doors and be legal, and that's why you buy them. If you want a stock feel to it, buy the Mopar ones that cost 400$. But these do the job, would buy again.

These mirrors work fine. They do vibrate some at highway speeds. They also whistle. I fixed this problem by putting black electrical tape around the edges. The air gets between the mirror and the rubber trim which causes the whistling.

We bought these mirrors to put on an old YJ Jeep this summer so we could remove the doors. Frankly the hardest part of all of this was removing the doors as I am pretty sure the original owner of our Jeep had never removed them. The mirrors will come in three pieces and assembling them is pretty simple as is mounting them on the Jeep. I did look at the instructions briefly but most of it is pretty intuitive. You mount them to the top door hinge bracket and it is not exactly rocket surgery.I noticed that while the one on the driver's side held it's position well, the one on the passenger side felt loose where the mirror mounts by way of a ball joint to the rest of the assembly. Sure enough, I drove it and the wind moved the mirror so that I was not able to use it. I actually read comments on here for a bit to see if anyone had anything to say on the subject and I found a few reviews complaining of the same thing. Then I decided to actually read the instructions. The very last step was to tighten or loosen the three screws around the ball joint until it has the amount of tension necessary to be adjusted, but not be floppy. While I was surprised that this would not have been set at the factory, at least it is something easily done by the end user. A few minutes tightening and testing the results and I now have mirrors that will stay in place where I put them.My only complaint is that at my height (6'6") I still have a lot of trouble actually seeing the mirrors when I drive. To be fair though, I can see them much better than the factory mirrors that Jeep put on the doors. They (the original mirrors) were completely useless to me. I realize that this is probably not a problem for most people and that this vehicle is not really big enough for someone this tall anyway. The mirrors are in my opinion better than the ones that came on the YJ and the price is reasonable.

These mirrors take 5 minutes to install. They are good quality and work the way they are supposed to. But like all jeep mirrors they shake a little but that's inevitable. another flaw like every mirror ever is getting them in a good position so you can see. if they are not tightened enough they will fold in on you at more than 55 MPH.
