I bought this to go in my bathroom, dear hubby sits and contemplates the nature of existence etc and while he is at it he reads his car magazines. This is perfect for him indoors’ mags for the loo. It came packed well in a rigid corrugated box and bubble wrapped. The grain on my one goes horizontally and it’s in perfect condition, no chips or glue or anything. I wanted wood so I could varnish it the same colour as the floorboards which is dark. It doesn’t stick out in the way and is exactly what I wanted at a great price. I do recommend it,

For the price I wasn't expecting something perfect. I'm keeping it but it needs a lot of work. Some comments:- Measure before you buy. It is small but I was expecting that, and it's exactly the size I needed for my space.- The one I got is decently constructed - no major gaps or flaws.- Color is much darker than pictured. Part of what I liked was the dovetailing on the corners, but with the dark stain it's not visible at all. Not a deal breaker, just disappointing.- There is glue all over the bottom, front edges, and one side. I don't care about the bottom, but it does make the front and sides look really sloppy.With some sanding and a paint job it will look ok. Just know up front that this is not a flawless item.

I purchased this for my daughter's bathroom to give her something to do while she makes doo. Ha! It took a while for my creative juices to get going. She loves pineapples and anything with marble design. I already had the marble contact paper from a previous project and purchased the pineapple wall stickers here on Amazon. I think it turned out ok.

Although smaller, I thought this would be the perfect size for our needs and would look nice displayed on the wall but I had to return it given the condition it arrived in. It seemed study enough, however it had deep scratches in the wood in a few places and it looked unfinished; there seemed to be a sort of glue residue visible on the outside, as you can see in the pictures.

Adorable little mail holder. We use this to place our mail in by our front door so it's not laying all around. It's lightweight which is nice but the color runs a little darker than pictured. Only complaint is it DOES NOT fit a normal sized magazine or larger envelopes. I also would not recommend over stuffing it, it feels slightly delicate.
