It is softer than most, and was easy to install. The only problem seems to be a sort of ridge around the outer rim of the seat, so it could be more comfortable than it is

I installed this with ease, no problems, it fit the bowl perfectly. However, the hinges snap apart very easily! The padding is minimal, but ok. The embroidery is pretty and a great design. However, I lifted the seat and the ring together, and the right hinge popped out of socket! It was tough to get back in, but I thought, just a quirk, a glitch, no big deal. However, it pops out every single time I lift both pieces! It's not worth my time to take it to a return center, but I just wanted to warn you...it is not very high quality and mine did not stay together long enough to make it through a day.

What other reviews say, it's true. I should have read and listened to them before making a quick purchase. Clamps are very flimsy: if you lift both the lid and pad, the pad pops out. The lid is very thin and feels like there's only corrugated cardboard inside to support you. The pad has very minimal soft padding and everything flexes under very light human(150lbs). Not happy at all with the purchase. Should have returned it, but wasn't worth the hassle.Very disappointed. Sorry.

The color & design I ordered had a butterfly but it came with seashells. Ugh. But I needed a seat desperately. Ordinary installation nothing too hard but not easy either. First time sitting on it, it flattened and never regained its shape. If I sit more than 3 or 4 minutes the vinyl sticks and peels off painfully. Cleaning the floppy covered foam causes wrinkles that also hurt to sit upon. Plus, the thin vinyl tears so the foam is unhygienic. Pretty disgusted with myself for not returning it. I am disabled and use a bedside commode. The other user is male and sits less often than me. He doesn't speak about such personal things and I tend to forget easily so I just forgot about it until requested to review. Waste of money cheap crap. lol, stupid pun intended.

It has snapped in half at the back of the seat. It's must be made of cardboard. Not good for the price upsy for it

The ONLY thing there is to like about this thing is the color. I don't believe I have ever purchased anything from Amazon that was so horribly made I couldn't rank or had just ONE lone positive remark about it.....til now!! This toilet seat DID NOT FIT my standard toilet! The size flaw was slightly off and would have worked IF that had been the only flaw. However, the flaws became much more than just slight flaws. The second time I sat on it the CHEAP and totally insane choice of a flimsy PLASTIC bolt to 'secure' the cheap PLASTIC seat stays locked in place..BROKE !!! How this junk met anyones' standards astounds and disappoints me. Because I do like the color,and am able to rig the seat adequately -- though very unsightly (I will be the only person to ever see it!), I won't be returning it. I also WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS toilet seat!!! The designer; the manufacturer, and all sellers of this rip-off toilet seat should be ashamed and issue an apology to those of us who bought it trusting that we weren't wasting our hard-earned money!!
