So far it is great. I have a Wirsh Espresso Machine and the included tamper is plastic and flimsy and this one not only fits perfect but is nice and heavy and feels very stout. Haven't done much with the calibration it allows but it sure is making my pucks much better than that darn flimsy tamper that came with it! And for the great [price offered it's hard to go wrong1

Sturdy, easy to use with a bottomless portafilter, just lay it flat on the edge of a table and press. I press a lot more than supposed to, to increase the density of the coffee grounds and extract more flavor. It is easy to clean up, just unscrew the two parts.

It looks nice, feels nice, is sustainable--but my coffee pucks are still uneven. Maybe a heavier one would do a better job.

The tamper is pretty good overall. I personally don't like the way it feels but it hasn't been enough to get it replaced

I'm learning to make coffee, and my first tamper was not spring loaded. This one helps me get more even and aligned pressure, and I'm getting more consistent packs for my espresso machine. I'd buy it again, but this one looks like it will last forever, and I'll never need two.

Good quality, has a nice weight to it. Does not compress all the way down but creates a nice tamp. Easy to clean and fits my 51mm portafilter perfectly.
