Granted we use it for Karaoke ar home, but it works great. I thought the boom would be dropping with the weight of our Shure SM48 mics but it holds on pretty good. Not bad for the price.

The construction is flimsy and weak, product Legs buckled before first use and with a mic on it just wasn't very stable at all.The legs and support needs to be of greater weight and more rigid design.

this little guy does the job and then some. No, it's not built like a tank and if you were going to gig every night for a year, it might not the best. But for monthly performer, this is your mic stand! I really like it and I'm 6 ft 3. It works for little children too. I recommend it.

I needed a reasonably priced stand, this works fine. I don't really need the compact features and that actually adds some work for me but honestly it is sturdy and portable. I really liked that it came with multiple holders for microphones and the price. Can't go wrong with this.

Groet,A3

It is overall a good stand, and in a sitting position when I'm playing the guitar, it is great! I liked this cause I am fairly tall (6'3") and it could go pretty high with the boom arm.As could probably be understood, it's not very sturdy in this position (and I've watched it topple over with my Shure SM57 on it at least twice when I had my back turned - Thank God I have a soft carpet and that SM57s could fall onto a hard stage, and still work!). But...i made it work great by putting a 3 pound dumbbell on the back end of the tripod, and I haven't had a problem since! But when I get money for a more pricey mic, I'm definitely changing the stand...

The stand itself is made from lightweight metal, but the knobs are plastic. They seem a little cheap, and I'm not sure how long they'll hold up. The stand is a little unstable when the boom is fully extended and has a mic on the end. I'm a little nervous it will tip over if it gets bumped. I'll probably add a sandbag to the bottom to make sure it doesn't tip. In this case (as in most cases), you get what you pay for. If you're looking for something that gets the job done while not draining your bank account, this stand is it.

Not a good microphone stand. I returned it within 10 minutes of it arriving. It assembles easily, it's a bunch of threaded pipes that slot and screw together easily. Some of the connections aren't metal though, some are plastic threads, with a plastic cap that screws them "tightly" together. The problem here is the plastic is very flexible and very cheap. You can't tighten it because the threads jump track and so you can't really build it to support any weight.I assembled it easily, and marveled at how poorly it was made. Under it's own weight each joint was crooked, leaning the stand more and more at each section. Top half i didn't trust to hold the weight of mic for fear of the threads jumping track again and the whole thing falling into two pieces. This is more of a toy quality than anything else. You'd be surprised a factory would feel confident producing these and thinking anybody would want to buy them after seeing the final product built. I wish i took photos of or a video to post along with my warning to not buy them.
