  • Locking tuners are excellent for non-locking tremolo guitars, and for players that do heavy string-bending. Tuners and all mounting hardware packed well in a foam box

They are very nice to look at and they work great, now these have to be seated in place cause they have some sharp barbs that will push into the wood of the headstock so be sure that you have them in place where you want them to stay. This also means that you may have to use a mallet to seat them cause if you just use the screw to tighten it down you may strip out the funnel and you don’t want to do that.

For a regular guitar player, who doesn't just fiddle around on it once every couple months, these do not work. For everyday use, you can barely make it through one song without having to re-tune. The locking function is worthless on them because they don't stay in tune anyway. Don't waste your money on ones with the locking feature if you're a regular player. The Kaish brand has consistently failed against other brands for the same money.

The tuners are great - good quality, heavy, pretty with. the translucent buttons - and the string locking mechanism is nice and functions properly - but they arrived without the nuts, washers and screws. Fortunately, the ones from the old tuners fit, so I used them.

I purchased for a "Chibson" Angus Young edition S.G.It came with some pretty sloppy chrome tuners, and since the guitaris relatively solid I figured this would be a nice upgrade. They are an exact match for the ones that came on the guitar. No modification was necessary, 'although Chibsons are hit or missas far as the hardware. ' They work as they should, and give the guitar a morevintage look.

I prefer Vintage Deluxe style tuners over Grovers srotomatic Kidney bean tuners, so I wanted to change out the stock Grover tuners on my Epiphone Les Paul. The stock tuners worked great, but I wanted the deluxe style, because I think they look better. I bought these because they were cheaper than Gibson, Kluson or Gotoh, they were locking, & supposedly are 21:1 tuning ratio. They were super easy to install in the existing holes without routing or bushings, & the screw holes lined up perfectly. Strings were super easy to install & lock in, & I was able to reuse the new strings I had already put on the guitar. They look great, & despite all that, they really don’t work all that good. They have a ton of play in them, even though I tightened the buttons, & it’s really hard to dial in the tuning. They go out of tune really easy, & that’s despite the fact that the strings are stretched out, the brand new nut is cut & filed perfect, as is the new Gotoh Nashville bridge I installed. The original Grovers worked perfect, felt good, held tune & were very precise, but I only changed them for aesthetic value. I find it very hard to believe these are 21:1 ratio, as my Grovers are only 14:1 I think, yet they work much better. If these don’t improve, I will most likely change back to the originals or spend the extra money & get a set of vintage deluxe Gibsons, Gotohs, Klusons or even Grover Vintage Deluxe. I think Wilkinsons would have been better. I won’t be buying this brand again

Oh man… These tuners are the best available nowadays. Far better than in the past yet at a very affordable cost. The design is quite nice. They appear as Grovers from the back yet they are locking. The translucent cream ivory tulips are very tasteful and harmonize well with cream hardware. The photos don’t show it clearly but they are a lovely tasteful translucent cream. The washers on the front are tastefully sized, not too big and not too small. I have to say they are gorgeous while the 21:1 tuning ratio provides superior stability and adjustability, I had not yet heard of such a fine ratio even being made. This is hi-fi! That said I have to hand it to the Chinese company. They seemed to have combined the very best of classic designs into one contemporary fresh and clean offering that surpasses the past. I mean how high can one’s expectations be regarding the design of some replacement guitar tuners? Well, these tuners surpass expectations and are a new understated yet high performance classic. As far as I am concerned if these are an extension of a Communism philosophy I would suggest that we here in the West should acknowledge that there are indeed strengths in that conservative yet progressive mind set. Bravo, Bravo!!
