This instrument sounds lovely. But the the Amazon sellers must send used or defective items. This arrived with glue & scratches all over the front. I contacted Kala & purchased the same uke directly from them at the same price. They inspect all instruments prior to shipping. They believe this was a factory reject. I’m returning to Amazon today.

I really was disappointed in this however amazon did send me a CEMB instead of a CEM so there may be a difference there. but the product did not feel well finished. it was playable, the blue was pretty, the sound was ok . but the cost was terrible for what i received. the bridge was ruff. in a its never seen a piece of sand paper ever ruff, I was highly disappointed in this. Ended up returning it and getting a Vangoa which I am much happier with for 1/3 of the cost of this one.

Just got this a couple days ago. It has a beautiful open sound, the color is amazing. I saw a couple reviews saying it doesn't stay in tune. However that's normal for new strings on any string instrument. They need to stretch out then they will stay in tune better after a bit. Just tune them and play them regularly and the tuning will stay much better. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

Beautiful instrument; lovely warm sound and the sound projects nicely, perfect action, quality strings, after just a handful of turnings it holds its tuning for several days with only minor adjustments, I can not find any flaw with it whatsoever.The tigering of the mahogany wood is truly beautiful, the blue stain has a slight green tone depending on how the light falls on it. It almost has a slightly iridescent quality to it.I would say that this is a perfect mid range ukulele. I know that I will have lots of playing fun with it for a long time to come.I only wish the price had included a gig bag; but that's ok, I bought a nice colourful gig bag myself, which is a nice colour match to my new Uke.

After playing around on a very cheap (basically a toy) soprano ukulele for a few days I decided to order a proper instrument to continue learning on. It arrived on time and in good condition. The color is a bit greener than I expected but it still looks blue in most lighting. Although I'm a novice player and the strings are still new enough that I'm having to re-tune frequently, I am really pleased with the action (the distance between the strings and the fret board) and with the sound quality of this instrument. I'm really happy with this purchase and I'm looking forward to many years of playing this beautiful uke.

I purchased this with Amazon gift cards received for my birthday. I am new to Ukuleles. The color on this is beautiful. Wood with blue stain, just as pictured. The sound is good but not great. I purchased a Córdoba CM15 concert size Ukulele one month earlier and it is cheaper and has GREAT sound. Both Ukuleles have Aquila Super Nylgut Strings. These are great strings. I am keeping this because I like it but it is not worth 50 more dollars than the Córdoba. Glad I had gift cards.

This is a wonderful instrument. The interesting wood grain and blue stain make it very beautiful. The tone is very nice. The frets are perfectly in tune all the way up the neck (which is more than I can say about other ukes I have tried). It has a very mellow smooth tone that is a little quieter and less "tinny" than some of my other ukes. Out of the box I tuned it once and it has kept in tune after many hours of playing with minimal adjustment.The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that the wood on the top has a few defects. There are some small dents in the wood that do not appear to be damage after manufacture, but just not a perfectly smooth piece of wood. You cannot see this unless you look very closely, and there are no defects on the sides or back. But this doesn't take away from the overall beauty of the instrument and the really nice tone that it has. I love it. I would have given it 4.9 stars if that was an option.

This is my first uke and I couldn't ask for a better one. I purchased back in February and it has given countless hours of enjoyment. Definitely the start of a lifelong hobby (and maybe an addiction!). Whenever I'm feeling down or stressed, I strum my uke, sing and feel better. Mine is sturdy, didn't come with any dings, and holds a tune after hours of play. I would only say I wish the blue was more vibrant like in the picture, but it's still pretty darn cute. Acheté pour faire le cadeau d'anniversaire de mon fils (adulte), il est enchanté !Je n'y connais rien en musique, mais la sonorité est très agréable (par rapport aux soprano que j'ai pu entendre sur youtube...)La taille "Concert" est idéale :- Plus de frettes que sur un soprano et même nombre que sur les ténor et baryton.- Plus facile à jouer qu'un "petit" soprano, mais aussi facile à emporter partout.La sacoche de bonne facture est suffisante pour un transport occasionnel, mais il a aussi conservé aussi le carton d'origine qui est très bien adapté (ukulele dans sa housse) pour un éventuel transport dans un coffre bondé par exemple (risque d'écrasement par d'autres affaires) !On peut voir la sacoche sur un autre modèle, mais je joins quelques photos (volontairement surexposées pour voir les détails)...A noter que l'emballage pour la livraison est excellent (Très grand carton + papier kraft froissé)En plus, en bleu, il est atypique et très joli !!!

I love this little ukulele, it has a great sound, easy to play and comes with Nylgut strings. I have been playing the guitar for 20+ years but this is my first ukulele and it has re-ignited my passion to play. it does a good job of staying in tune as well
