The ukulele is beautiful and has a lovely tone, but the case arrived damaged with the handle detached on one side. Both products came in the same box but with no padding and with the instrument NOT within the case, which I found very counterintuitive.

This Uke arrived just thrown in a box without adequate protection. Shipped without all of the accessories and with the wrong size case. Luckily there was no damage to the Uke. I’ve played it every day for the past 5 months. And I love it! I’ve been experimenting with various strings. Definitely sticking with the Low G, but trying to figure out if I like Nylgut or Fluorocarbon better. So far I think I will switch back to the Nylgut.

The uke is exactly as pictured and described, wood grain and color are even better than the picture! Also, the hard case is impressively built and well padded. The sound is very smooth, even got compliments from my ukelele teacher!

Let me preface my remarks with this: I'm 70 yrs old and have NEVER played any musical instrument or learned to read a single note of music. I'm so new that I had NO clue how to use the Uke strap that came in the bundle (without instructions or a photo)! So I did the "logical" thing. I hooked the strap to the top of the sound hole and hung the uke from my neck lanyard style. Damn thing was waaay to long! After looking at other straps for sale on Amazon and a couple of How to Play videos, I discovered the hook goes on the BOTTOM of the sound hole with the strap going DOWN the face of the uke, UNDER the bottom side, and up the backside next to my belly with the neck loop going around your neck. If my uke could, it would probably run screaming from this rank beginner trying to figure out how to use this new gadget.I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who plays and it seems to be well made with decent features and the bundle includes a lot of "getting started" things, all for a reasonable price. Once I can break through the initial learning curve, I hope to spend many quality hours with my new uke.

So far so good. It came without a scratch and sounds really good. The only thing I’m slightly worried about is the “e” string seems to be much looser (1/2 a turn more) then the others when retuning after overnight. That said I don’t think it’ll be a problem because it’s probably just something to do with it being new. Tuner works great and is easy to use. Overall I am pleased with this purchase and those that have seen it think it’s a pretty instrument.

Let me start this by saying this is my first ukulele and I do not know how to play yet. First impressions is it's very attractive and once tuned it has a lovely mellow sound though not as nice as the pine bodied one I looked at at a local music shop. That particular uke was over $300 though.I watched a few videos and looked up a few articles on tuning it and was able to do it using the electronic tuning gizmo without too much trouble. It helps to understand the order of the notes from low to high and make sure the tuner is set to U for ukulele. Just push the button a few times to select it. The battery was included for the tuner. It doesn't stay in tune long, but my research says that's normal until the strings stretch a bit. Expect to tune it often until then. It came with Aquila strings already on it, which were highly recommended. The included gig bag seems nicer than I was expecting, though it's no hard case so I wouldn't expect it to do much more than keep your ukulele clean and free from scratches. Still is way better than nothing and it fits well.I haven't looked at the included DVD yet and the polishing cloth is just that - a nice soft cloth. Can't say much about it.I'm really happy with my purchase though and looking forward to learning to play it! Hopefully I'm better at this than I was at playing the flute in junior high! Lol

Everything came in one box on the day it was promised. I could not have asked for better service. The instrument is beautiful. It looks like a fine piece of furniture. The finish is a very deep gloss. It can also stand-up to some abuse without even a mark. This uke can really project the sound. And the sound is very mellow. The tuner that was included is a very good one. This is my first tenor uke and it is a lot easier for me to play.
