The special chocolate melting function allows you to add chocolate chips or chunks directly into the pitcher to make decadent hot chocolate. The stainless steel cage prevents the stirring element from getting clogged during melting. The Bartista comes with a removable glass pitcher and a French press accessory. First one stopped working after 5 days. This one is a replacement. The coffee was very good for the first 4 days. Very easy to use. Very happy with the return/replacement time. 2 days. We will try this new one and rate it if it lasts.

My husband got me this to replace a beloved electric press I left in a hotel … it doesn’t not heat quickly, but it’s effective and makes a darn good cup. It’s versatile for those who not want coffee drinks, and we’ve made cocoa as well. However my glass carafe is cracked at handle after just a few uses, and I don’t see parts available. Now what?

I love French press coffee! I have been waiting for an electric one and when I saw this I bought it! I read the reviews and this is my opinion. It heats the water to the correct temperature and then I add the coffee. It steeps for the correct amount of time and you push the plunger down slowly and pour your coffee! It is delicious! Then rinse pot add milk or whatever you use and froth the milk! It comes out perfectly smooth and great! I love it and am so happy with it! So far so good!Now I want a larger one! This one makes 3 cups!

This is our second Kalorik in 8 months. We received the first one fro Christmas and loved it. It worked great for the first three months, but there would be times it would start beeping and all of the lights would turn on. The only way to stop it was it unplug it and restart it. It would happen several times while making coffee. We eventually threw it out and preceded another one. We have had the second one for three months and it is doing the same thing. Do not waste your money on this. Buy a good one that will last a long time.

I can't say enough how much I love this set. Small enough to fit on my small counter space in the kitchen, versatile, easy to clean and very quiet while operating. I love the fact I can grind manually my coffee beans and make the freshest tastiest artisanal coffee at a fraction of a coffee shop price. I am not able to go back to big chaînes coffee places anymore, the taste just don't match this quality. Whoever thought of this is a genius.

I have a morning station in my bedroom, and this device does a great job heating milk, water, and hot chocolate. It can take a few minutes to heat, and I prefer it. The froth for my latte and cappuccino have smooth foam and not just a bunch of air. I clean the carafe with peroxide.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife. She loves good coffee. She loved it so much that the Keurig got put away. She said it was the best gift ever!!
