I'm not sure I will keep this item after just one use. The grill part does get hot enough (460 F degrees) to do a fine job on searing and grilling meat -- in our case, excellent lamb chops. BUT there are some problem areas for us Seniors which could influence others (of any age) in buying or returning this item. First, since it's a larger unit with multiple parts, it's somewhat heavy to have to move and/or store regularly. Second, the temperature setting never showed it had reached the desired Searing temperature we wanted (460 F) although the Instruction Manual said it would. Third, the parts are all stacked one on top of another, so to access the collecting Drip Trays (2 parts & no slide-out drawer!) on the bottom, there's no easy way to remove these -- the user has to remove ALL the parts to access them. Fourth, there's an excellent fan inside which draws out & away the smoke it produces, but the glass cover with rubber seal does NOT sit firmly and tightly on the top, so smoke escapes all around while cooking. Fifth, the heavy glass top came with simple instructions to attach the clever handle with screws and washers, but no matter how tight I made the connections (3 times) the handle kept loosening and rotating when lifted. One has to be careful when tightening this part so as to not crack the glass itself. Overall, a good product with some problems. Richard Phillips

I bought this grill for my son for Christmas and when he opened it the handle was broken and it didn’t work, the fan doesn’t work at all and the power button turned red! He wouldn’t tell me about it because felt bad until I was at his house yesterday and I tried to use it! I don’t know if it’s to late to do anything about it but I’m very disappointed, I hope you can help me in someway since I’m a very good customer! I hope to hear from you soon! Thanks

I have been using this grill quite a bit. It does take some cleaning the components but it’s fairly easy to clean. So far I love it

It is very quiet and smoke free. Instructions not clear on if water in drip pan is necessary for operation. Average ease of cleaning. Works well.

The product was delivered on January 7th and we have used it 5 or 6 times. As a grill, it works well from a cooking standpoint but it is anything but "smokeless". I ve made sure there was water in the bottom pan and lowered the heat when I cook but I still get smoked out. I'd return it but I'm over the 30-day return. I've set off my fire alarms twice so I need to open my front door and put a fan under the smoke alarm and it still smokey inside. I'm bummed out because it cooks very well. If there is a solution to this please let me know.

After watching an infomercial on the Power XL Smokeless grill, I decided to purchase it as a gift for an avid griller. However, it wouldn't even turn on! Junk! Due to similar features, I bought this as a replacement. The first time we used it, we did notice that it does indeed emit a fair amount of smoke. For the second use, we loaded it up with Salmon. It didn't seem to smoke as much, but did take longer to cook. It's still a great purchase and super easy to clean. The lid is a great bonus feature! So far, I'm very happy with this smokeless grill.

It's fairly good product. Handle seems loose and as expected the glass tends to blacken overtime. Other than that the product works amazingly. I personally cannot tell the difference between propane and this machine. I highly reccomend
