I read reviews for these templates, or stencils, for needle felting, and was skeptical. I thought that they would be very thing like plastic stencils. They are thick enough for what I needed.I have some arthritis in my hands and holding onto smaller pieces is difficult and I end up getting punctured with the felting needles. These stencils help me to get started making ears, arms, tails, and legs. I can get the basic shape started then fine tune it.I found them sturdy enough for what I need.They are individual pieces with 7 individual pieces, each with a variety of sizes of a specific shape.I used the templates to start the ears, nose, arms, legs, tail, and fish in this project.

I wasn't aware of this type of tool existing until I stumbled across the listing. I'm glad I did! These are great for maintaining symmetry or uniformity in felting small animals.There's a good range of sizes for the things I like to make, and a good range of shapes, too. The templates are a nice, solid thickness and appear sturdy. I consider them very good value for the price.

I ordered these to help with uniformity during needle felting. The stencils are just okay. They aren’t very sturdy, and there are areas that seem like they’re going to break if used very often - like the stencil in the middle of my photo. The way some of them are cut makes the felt they used too thin and flimsy. The other issue I have with them is that some of the cutouts are way too small to be entirely functional. I’m very much on the fence with this set as to whether I want to keep them. I’m just not sure they’re worth the amount paid, especially if they’re going to break after a few uses. The shapes are great; they’re very practical. But the overall construction is lacking.

These are great for needle felting projects. They save lots of time in shaping ears, eyes, noses, etc...I'm very pleased with them and the quality seems very good.
