It a great chalk holder and definitely buy it again when this one wears out . I bought mine in 2023 and it still good and hold my chalk great and the magnets great on that . It hold great .

Because there is a hole in the chalk holder, every time you go to pull it off of the clip the magnet pops out. Then I have to take the chalk out, try to put the magnet back in, then put the chalk back in. Just for it to come out again the next time I need to chalk. For such an expensive accessory, this shouldn’t be a problem. There shouldn’t be a hole in it to begin with. Terrible design. I expected more from Kamui.

This thing has a very strong magnetic pull. I've had other chalk holders before and I don't think I'd ever go back.

Yes it is not cheap. Yes there are other magnetic clips that cost significantly less. But there is a reason for that, they cost less because they don't work as well.This is the first and only magnetic chalk holder i've used that has a very strong magnet. So strong that if you hover it over the chalk it will literally pull it off a table from 3" away. So strong that you should not put it anywhere near an electronic device.Just spend the extra money now and save yourself a lot of headache later.
