This is a great design! Unlike other water “painting” booklets that stop returning back to white after getting soaked, this one has held up and is durable. The water responsive pages work well, the pen leaks just enough water, and it is perfect for a 2-4 year old!

This is a nice, heavy-duty water activity book. These paint-with-water books are so fun. My grandson had two books when he was four years old and he's worn them out. At five years old, he still tries to paint with them, so I'm getting some more. To paint with this, you untwist and fill the blue barrel of the paintbrush with water, twist it back on, then paint the picture with water. The hidden scene instantly appears full color. It disappears as it dries, which happens rather quickly, and then you paint again. Each page tells a little rhyming story about the scene, a few facts about the farm animal, and hidden pictures to find. Your toddler will love this paint with water book; I highly recommend it.

Book is just like the Melissa and Doug's Water Wow. However the price is a few dollars more. It is fun at first but after 20+ uses the pages get filmy.

I am a pediatric OT, and travels to homes. I am always looking for mess free activities to work on fine motor skills and pencil grasp. The kids are very motivated by this activity!

This Aqua Activity Book captivated my 3 year old grandson when he first received it last week. He has a pretty short attention span still and his focus and abilities to use colored pencils or anything like that is very limited. When brighter colors showed up from the brush he thought that he had done something special.It is nice that these can dry out and be used again, although it looks as though the second time the colors aren't as vibrant.We will let him enjoy this for awhile before attempting some primary color water paints.

WHAT I LIKED:- that it is reusable (as the picture appears when wet + disappears when dry)- sooo much easier than trying to get my toddler to use paint + paintbrushes!- perfect activity for travelling / at restaurants- a surprisingly sturdy little book with vibrant coloursWHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:- the pen can leak if left on its side- that you only get one pen (it is very challenging to keep the pen + book together without my toddler moving one of them)
