These were a little difficult to get the covers on because I thought they went one way and it was wrong and I had to flip them around but once I got it right it looked more like the pictures. The kids have a blast play fighting with them. Very durable and they were a great value. I think they probably work best for young adults but nice to have!

I have focus mits for the punches but I needed these pads for the kicks. My child was holding back his kicks when I used the mits until I finally got these pads. He went to town with these and Iβm assuming because it gives him a larger target. I was a little concerned that they may be a bit thin because I was comparing them to the ones they use at his dojo but it does the job well. There are plenty of handles to grip the pad and its not so large that we can store it away when not in use. Iβm now able to practice with my son and explain what he needs to do to correct his kicks and motion. Glad I got this. The material and stitching appears to be pretty good. Time will tell how well it lasts. One nice freebie, the pads came in a reusable vacuum bag. Pretty cool.

My daughter and I take Tae kwondo together a few times a week and often practice in between. We use a kick/strike shield in our classes quite often and decided it would be helpful to have one at home to practice our kicks and punches.Β The ANDGOAL Martial Arts strike shield seems very durable and just as good as the name-brand equipment we use in class.Β We like that the handles are nice and wide, yet comfortable for both small and large hands. They seem somewhat padded as well. The construction of this strike pad seems quality-made with reinforced heavy-duty stitching. I'm not sure what the actual material on the bag is made of. It isn't leather and doesn't appear to be "pleather," but more like a heavy-duty rubbery vinyl fabric. I see lots of good use with this striking pad, and I already see my daughter's kicks improving! Great product! Very pleased!

NOTE: Cut into box carefully, mine was really bulging do to the size of the padding and you could easily cut into the product if you're careless. The kids are all big into boxing and martial arts and I thought this striking pad looked like a good way to get some practice in without punching each other in the head. The bag has a zipper across the top and the internal padding consists of two rectangular foam blocks that come vacuum sealed to save some space although with the way the box was bulging at the seams I'm not sure how much space is actually saved compared to if it was just pre installed. The instructions say to give the foam about 30 minutes to return to shape before installing them. I think I gave them more like an hour and a half or two hours to make sure they were back to size. Getting them in wasn't too bad, they do a pretty good job of filling the bag but it doesn't end up looking overstuffed like a professional grade bag. This bag works out great for the kids. It provides plenty of padding so that no one on either end, striking or blocking, gets hurt. I would say it would work plenty good for the majority of adults unless you're a really big, really powerful person or already a well trained striker. In that case you may want to look for a more substantial pad.

I'm nothing but impressed by this kickboxing pad! The exterior synthetic leather is high quality material with zero smell. Thick and durable feel. Construction is solid and intact. All stitching is top notch with no loose strings or stray pieces anywhere. And the nylon handles are robust and sturdy. Not thin or cheap in any way. All straps are easy to grab and hold onto. The interior pads are thick! They arrived vacuum sealed, so I gave them the suggested 30 minutes to fully expand. In truth, though, they pretty much arrived in their full expanded size, ready to go. Good, dense foam that'll take a punch! And cut to exactly fill the bag. The pads stack on top of each other horizontally. Slightly tight to work them into the bag, which is a good thing. They fill it up! No loose fabric anywhere once you're done. Only part that requires any real "dainty" precision is closing the zipper once the pads are in. Be nice about it and it won't break. The zipper closure would be my only real complaint "IF" I chose to have one at all. It's a little lighter than expected. Like I said, be gentle with it and it'll close and hold just fine. All in all, this is an impressive kickboxing style workout bag that I am planning to give a lot of fun, family use to! Hope you do too!

I enrolled my kid in the gym kick-boxing lessons. He loves it. He has home exercises to do. So I got this shield pad so he can practice on it. My husband was able to put it together (I did help a little as it was very tight to get the cushions in place). The handle are at a good height. kids love it, makes homework fun:)

What I liked best is the construction and material. The fabric is thick and seems durable enough for many training sessions. Webbing is also stitched around most of the shield providing better resistance against premature tearing. However only one handle was stitched without reinforcement so that was a little oversight. The shield is easy to hold and brace against the body for training. I havent had any issues with it during training. Size is perfect for training most sorts of strikes. Our pad is mostly being used for kicks and its so nice to have. The kick shield wipes off easy in case things get sweaty too.Best of all. No cheasy graphics or designs. Just simple, black, straight to the point. I appreciate simplicity. For what it is, the price was a bit steep for nearly 60$. Maybe if it was close to 40$ it would be a definite buy for at-home training.

These would be very good for football practice, boxing, kick boxing, or any contact sport. These shields are pretty solid and absorb a good grunt of force.
