The magnetic ring fits perfectly inside the filter holder for the lens, it screws into the hood nicely and feels secure. You can rotate the polarizer with the hood on, huge plus. All in all a great system, I’ve been using the Kase magnetic system for my 24-70 and 70-200 for about a year now and love it. Way easier than drop ins, square filters, or screw ons!
