No lo he probado con un aguacero, sin embargo por su precio se ve muy bueno, lo único malo fue que no me llegó con el forro para guardarlo, llegó "destapado"

Didn’t know the jacket and pants are made of tarp material.I am sure it will keep me dry.I am also sure it will be very hot to wear. Glad I live in Florida where I know it gets cold so I know I will stay toasty warm.

BEFORE YOU ORDER IT, KNOW THIS: The description says "loose fitting". That is its design for wearing layers underneath. But it is also almost comically understated. I am 5'11", 215lbs. I like my clothes comfortably loose so I wear an XL. I ordered a Large based on reviews re: sizing. It was still enormous. I could not only wear layers under it, I could wear the snowsuit that Ralphie's little brother wore in A Christmas Story under it and still have room to fit someone else in with me. So I ordered a Medium and wore IT over sweatpants with sport thermal layer & a hoodie w/ a long sleeve under it and it fit fine with room to move & fish (its intended purpose in my case). As for the pants, I hiked them up to where the inseam raised my voice half an octave and still had extra length at the ankles, so there will be no chance of rain getting past my boots. "Loose fitting"? Yeah. Little bit. (Pics are of the Large on a table that seats 8). Order accordingly. Now on to the rest of the review...THE GOOD: Set your expectations for the price point and KastKing will pretty reliably exceed them. This suit is no exception. Solid zippers and velcro closures on the front and pockets, plus elastic wrist cuffs, drawstring bottom and an oversized hood (also with drawstrings, and a built-in hat bill) keep the water out. Material, while thin, feels tough enough to last a while.THE BAD: As others have mentioned, it's...loud. Not a nylon sliding across itself kind of loud, but a dry paper bag wrapped in tinfoil and rubbed vigorously against itself kind of loud. Does that matter in a driving rain when everything is wet and you're not? Not one bit. Will I gladly pull it out and throw it on when I'm out in the boat and the skies have a surprise liguid gift for me? Absolutely. (Will I wear it TO the dock- or bank fishing where other people might be- because of a forecast? Not so much.) However, my strong expectation is that once worn (& folded/crumpled into the stuffsack that comes with it) a few times the material will soften and the sound will decrease. I will update accordingly when said folding & stuffing has occurred.THE UGLY: Nothing really. It looks good. It's ultra lightweight. It's waterproof. It's (relatively) inexpensive. And it's made by KastKing so they will back up their product if it fails on you. If you're looking for heavy duty high end weather gear then you're looking for AFTCO. And adding a zero to the price. For extreme/super cold weather, honestly I'd be wearing my North Face gear. But for plenty of other applications/warmer weather (which is all this claims to be), I will definitely be throwing it in with my gear. I just won't plan on trying to sneak up on anyone while wearing it.

I was able to use this jacket and pants right away, and thankfully, they kept me nice and dry! The set is very lightweight and breathes well, and also sheds water well. I would say it’s a pretty good value considering it doesn’t build up sweat underneath as much as your typical “cheap” set from a big box store. Everything packs back up nicely in the included bag for easy storage. I’ll be keeping my set in the boat for the unavoidable rainy days! Note, the sizing does run large, as stated, but it does help in fitting over other gear if you’re wearing it!

I've tried several rain suits, and this one is by far the best. The material quality is excellent - it's thick and durable yet surprisingly lightweight. It's built to last and feels very wear-resistant. The design ensures that all areas are well-covered, so there's no chance of water getting through. It also comes with a storage bag, making it easy to carry and pack. It doesn’t take up much space in a backpack, which is great for trips. Perfect choice for fishing and hiking!

This KastKing rain suit is a lifesaver! I've used it several times now in some seriously heavy downpours, and I've stayed completely dry every time. The hood is also excellent, providing good coverage without obstructing my vision. It's comfortable enough to wear for extended periods, and it packs down surprisingly small, making it easy to stow in my bag. For the price, this rain suit is an absolute steal. Highly recommend!

Works well when power washing in cold weather to keep dry clothes. Fit is good.

I was finally able to test it in the rain this week. In a light rain, the rain suit held up. It was in the 40ish degree F and 10ish mph wind from the north. The suit blocked the wind we!ll. However, it did not provide any insulation from the cold as expected since it is not meant for warmth. As advertised, the rain suit was roomy enough to accommodate cold weather gear both the jacket and pants. I can easily wear jeans under the rain suit pants. I wore a hoodie and my winter coat under the jacket and had room to zip the jacket over the winter gear. I could easily fish, hike, or hunt while wearing winter gear with the rain suit.I like that it has a cloth layer on the outside. This will help prevent puncture from casual brushes with hooks. Overall, it is well constructed. I like the large zipper pockets on the jacket. The only complaint is that there are no pocket holes in the rain suit pants to easily reach items in my jeans' pockets. Easy access to my jeans would probably result in more rain reaching my clothing and my skin, so I understand why Kastking made the decision not to include this feature. This is overall a great product!
