I bought this frame for a picture as a gift for a friend who lost her fur babies. Its very nice and well made. The frame can be either hung on a wall or set on a surface. I bought the 5x7 size. Would recommend. My friend loved it .

Truly a beautiful frame. It's a very nice piece of wood, carved, elegant and just gorgeous to look at. I got a horizontal orientation and it holds a 4x6 with no room to spare on the back or sides. I'm super pleased with it though, the quality is 5 star for sure. Great addition to my dog's memorial wall.
