Took a bit of looking and happy I did. I bought a spring at a feed store that looked the same and was the same length, it fell off and made for and interesting couple of minutes (the engine stops when the kick stand is down). With this spring I'm a happy camper.

This listed my son's bike as fitting it.1 to 1 1/2 in to short.However the return and getting my money back was easy and appreciated.

UPDATE IIDropped My 3★ rating to 2★'s. The spring sprung off the kick stand - lost, again. This spring is a replacement part, for the discontinued OEM part. The seller sold me what Kawasaki considers this the correct replacement part. It seems this is an OEM part for different bikes, not the series I own. The material that this is made of is noticably lighter weight (smaller/thinner spring wire). I had to re-replace it once again.The newest image shows the difference between the old vs new spring.I don't have an issue with the seller. They sold me the correct part, according to Kawasaki. Kawasaki is just being disingenuous.UPDATE - 2 month - UPDATE:Not so enthused about the part, now. Last week the kick stand started dragging on the road during left turns. It does not retract all the way up to the frame anymore.It seems the material for this part isn't as stable as the original (which lasted 21 years, fully functioning, until it broke).OEM item. Arrived quickly, just in time to ride through Laconia Bike Week, such as it was.I had to use a bungee cord to keep the kick stand up, while riding. Undo the bungee cord to park, redo to ride. A real pain in the keister.I would buy from this company, again.
