I have never heard of or tried switches from KBDiy before. I love testing out new switches so I grabbed these up as soon as I saw them. I was not at all disappointed. The switch build is great on these. The springs are smooth, and the pin moves silently with every press. The factory lube is not bad at all, but I ended up still adding a bit of lube on my own to the whole set. The sound was much deeper and fuller than I expected. They kind of reminded me of Rosewood switches, but more crisp. I loved using these, but my husband ended up loving the sound of them too much and stole them away to use in his own keyboard. I might have to order another set for myself…

I’m not a fan of these switches. The actuation force is a bit heavier than what I’m used to, but it’s manageable. However, I really don’t like the bump feel on these—it’s very early, and when you fully bottom out, the sound is almost like a silent switch. For me, the combination of the early bump and lack of sound feedback makes them less satisfying to use.I’ve also struggled to find a keyboard where these switches sound good. Because of that, I’ve decided to use them primarily for building keyboards or assign them to FN keys that I rarely touch.Honestly, I think there are better tactile switches available at the same price point. For example, the Akko Blue Tactile switches sound and feel great on most keyboards. If you’re looking for a satisfying tactile switch, I’d recommend checking those out instead.

It's a heavy tactile switch. Nice looking. 35 in the pack. No light diffuser. Tactility is near the top but not at the very top. A nice switch for those who like a heavy tactile.
