- Keel Guard for Some aluminum boat : Fishing and Jon Boats. If boat comes with raised or reinforced center keel, it cannot be raised higher than 1/4 inch and doesn't built with reinforced welding around the edge, rivets, or sharp angles
- Keel Guard for Recreational watercraft : Ski Boats, Skiffs, Dinghy, and most Jet Boats. The keel guard can be applied on slightly raised strakes and chines with applied sealant.
- JYINCPED keel protector Fit for many boat brands, such as Nitro, Ranger, Triton, Skeeter, Xpress, Tahoe and more.
- JYINCPED keel guards for boats is NOT for most Catamarans with sharp keels with a steep 90° upturn.
- JYINCPED keel protector for boats is NOT for Lund, Alumacraft, Smoker Craft, Crestliner or Tracker, Pontoon tubes.
- JYINCPED boat keel guard protector is NOT fit for most kayaks and canoes which is made of low-surface energy plastic(LSE).
Warm Tips
- Recommend use 3M Primer (not included in the package) for best capabilities of the adhesive
- The keel guard should be mounted at least 4-6 inches above the waterline.
- Please do not lean against anything such as v-blocks, bunks, rollers, or bow stops for best adhesion of 3M adhesive.
- Please install the boat keel protector on good surface of the boat which doens't have poorly bonded paint, gel coat or boat bottom paint and uneven surface.
- Please keep keel guard and boat hull at the same temperature during application, recommended applying the adhesive when the hull temperature between 65°F to 100°F.

Purchased three of these keel guards for my 15 ft fishing skiff that is a flat bottom tri-hull in May 2024. I have installed many of these keel guards in the past and have absolute confidence in my abilities to follow directions. I followed the install directions to the letter and after only two days out on the water, all three of the keel guards began to peel away from the black rubber 3M adhesive leaving a complete nightmare of a mess on the bottom of the boat. I strongly believe these products were defective from the manufacturer. I tried reaching out through Amazon's customer service with no success. I also tried to contact the manufacturer direcly with no success. It's a $300 loss and a complete waste of money.

Adhesive came loose from keel protector in just one day. I wish I checked reviews before I wasted my time and money. Cheap china crap again.

Spend the time to install this product,it CLAIMS to have 3m adhesive and be careful not to use solvents to wipe off,did everything the directions said with their ten individual packets of primer that said 3m on them.......AND THE ADHESIVE STICKS TO THE BOAT JUST FINE,BUT THE KEEL GUARD FELL OFF THE ADHESIVE!!!!!!!!!DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT

This fell off the day after I applied according to all of the directions. The sticker part stayed on but the guard came off and left a layer of black gunk on my boat. Did not even last to use in the water. I would never buy again and would love a refund.

Bought and put on jetskis both came apart at the adhesive and rubber dropped off but adhesive stayed ,only in water once .

The rubber is of good quality, thick and durable. Unfortunately the glue has a defect. Despite having sanded and washed the hull, the gain came off after 3 days. I installed at a temperature of 20 celcius. Now I try to glue it back and nothing happens. Even when heated with a dryer nothing sticks. I have to take everything off.

Dont waste your money on this.Followed fitting instructions perfectly and the adhesives do not remain affixed for even 24hrs.Have had numerous attempts at getting it to remain glued to the hull, even reinforcing with heavey duty cloth tape.Nothing works.This is a junk product.

It will need extra adhesive. It did not adhere correctly on either side. Left air bubbles. Followed directions completely and viewed videos of installation.
